AC Maintenance

The service and the technician were excellent. He came to the house on the scheduled time and provided preventative maintenance. In addition to the maintenance, he identified a part in the AC unit that was starting to fail. He quickly replaced the part and I could not be happier.

when you are in a pinch Bay area air is a cinch

i have been with Bay area air conditioning as a customer for 20 years. i called the other morning at 4.30 am to their answering service with an emergency. they had a technician to me by 10 am the same day. The technician was first class .

Positive experience

The technician was someone familiar to us and with our cooling/heating units because he had installed and maintained them previously. I felt comfortable having him work in our home and servicing the units inside and out.

Service call completed, upon arrival check electrical components, found blower run capacitor open, replaced defective component and check refrigerant pressure, system check out low of refrigerant, charge 3 lbs of refrigerant, performed a quick leak search and no leaks found at the moment, advised client system condition, unit is 9 years old, there is some areas impacted with rust , systems aren't in warranty , send a free quote for system replacement in case client want to upgrade for a better efficiency system financing options are available , both systems are operating at this time

Found that the disconnect was pulled from the air handler. On the earlier visit today they must of forgotten to added the disconnect. Serviced the drain line and checked the systems operation.

Ran complete system tune up. Found a short at A/H and fixed it. Found no other problems. Static was at max for duct system. Cleaned drain and coils. Treated coils and drain. System Orting within specifications.

Ran complete system tune up. Found no problems other than drain being plugged up. Cleaned, flushed and treated. Blower is clean and evaporator is as well. Checked all other factory specifications and found no problems. System working good at this time.

upon arrival the condenser fan would not ramp up to full speed and overheat motor and compressor. I ordered motor and we had at shop. I went back to shop and picked up motor and returned. I installed new motor and it is cooling at this time. HC 38GR 224 motor is under warranty per 475
