Jeff was polite and knowledgeable. Got me back up and running quickly.
Glen was the most knowledgeable of all your great techs I have dealt with. I’ve got my fingers crossed that the problem is finally fixed.
Once again, I’m very satisfied with the service I’ve received from Bay Area A/C!
We have had an ongoing refrigerant leak in our air conditioner, one that is very hard to pinpoint. Jeff has done a very diligent job of trying to locate it, and we’re both hoping it’s finally fixed. As a retired tradesman who has extensive refrigeration experience myself, I really appreciate his commitment and skills.
Through no fault of his, this is the second time Jeff has had to service our A/C this year. Both times he has demonstrated conscientious professionalism in approaching and taking care of the problems. He has consistently explained what was wrong and his solution clearly. As a retired service technician myself, I recognize good service!
I got a quick response to my problem. The technician, Jeff, was quite knowledgeable and personable, solving the problem quickly, explaining it clearly, and all at a fair and reasonable price.
Cliff was very knowledgeable and did a great job explaining what was going on.
We have had David for 4 or 5 years, I ask for Dave ! He always is enjoyable to have for our service work. I will expect to have him as long as we live here.
Quickly identified the problem and explained what would be the solution. Always great service from Bay Area and Robert was in step with what I expected.
Even tho it was the first hot spell of the season, Bay Area A/C didn't stop until all their calls were done. The office reassured us that someone would be here today and Glen showed up and fixed our problem.

Upon arrival the controller was identifiable outdoor unit as too big for airhandler. Homeowner has his own parts so I installed a new HK70EZ012 model plug and now system is working properly. I took pictures of labels.
Upon arrival turned system on and condenser fan motor was working fine. Tested capacitor which read 5uf. Found dead lizard behind defrost board which may have caused intermittent fan issue. Removed lizard and found some damage to board. Recommend replacing board. Since system is currently working, customer wants to hold off.
