We needed a new air return vent to cool a bedroom, and it was put in quickly and efficiently, and even though this required cutting into the wall, there was no mess left when it was complete.
Called for service, they showed up within a few hours and quickly fixed the problem.
Jeff was great! Found a weak capacitor and replaced under warranty. He was very organized and the job was well done.
I picked Glen's brain on some issues/questions I had with the system over last several months. He was extremely willing and helpful discussing and answering my questions.
Glen has been my service technician a few times. He is always very informative( he explains why something should be done and the benefit derived from the procedure) and professional. I believe he is an asset to Bay Area A/C.
Dod a quick and cost efficient job..would recommend

Found no problems at this time with system or t-stat. Customer is getting used to stat and finding where to set stat for when not home nd when. This is a get away home and temperature and humidity are back an forth do to that. Se is going o etc her away settings now so that the humidity and temperature are to her satisfaction. She is going to log settings and then find the sweet spot for there comfort needs. That being temperature and humidity. Explained as well as i could that stat if cooling will only allow 3° below to satisfy humidity. If that is to cold then will have to raise temperatures and humidity then will go up as well
Called customer and explained what I did today. Wants someone from with more experience on system. I rescheduled.
Perform yearly maintenance checks and cleanings. System operating at this time.
Upon arrival I made some adjustments to setting on stat to better control humidity and stop the constant high humidity alerts. Last step before replacing stat if it continues. If problems still happen stat will need replaced.
Upon arrival the humidity was climbing very high on controller. I went through set up and made changes. I checked refrigerant pressures and adjusted. I checked wiring to make sure it was wired correctly and it was. It should maintain humidity once it catches up. Homeowner is going to monitor it.
