HONEST!

Technician was professional and pleasant. My AC is about 17 yrs old. It was working fine when I called Bay Area. However I hadn't lived in the house wanted to make sure I wasn't going to have any issues. I expected a sales pitch at the end of the appointment. You know the one...Old unit time, for a new one etc. When I asked the technician if I should be concerned with anything I was told that he didn't see any issues with the unit! AWESOME AND HONEST! Will definitely use Bay Area AC again. I only gave a 4 star in price because I had a competitors coupon for 1/2 the price. I had originally scheduled them come out. My husband didn't know and made appointment with Bay.

annual ac tuneup and cleaning. I refrigerant pressures and staic pressures. I checked all amp draws. I checked temp splits. I waxed outdoor unit. I cleaned both coils. I flushed drainline with dawn. I did not find any issues at this time. i got equipment information

Found t- stat shorting out in heat mode. Replaced stat and looked through history and can't find any references to us installing stat with system. Talked with Dale and we need to reschedule and install a Emerson Easy View stat. That way it will be warranty. Stat i installed is temporary until new stat comes in.

upon arrival everything would start except compressor. I found capacitor swollen and open. After quoting price I replaced. I checked pressures and the system is cooling.

System was running upon arrival. Found heavy slime build up in drain line . Suspected float switch was opening a d then closing intermittently due to slow drain. Cleaned and flushed drain line. Restarted and tested drain line and cooling

evaporator was found 100% matted, cleaned abap, have 60% to 70% cleaner,customer is recommended to have another evaporator cleaning just after summer start

Breaker was tripped 1/2 way was putting out 110v flipped breaker back on unit is running properly. Customer wants new breaker installed.

service call completed, compressor wasn't not operating upon arrival, check electrical components , capacitor not operating, replace defective component and test compressor operations, during diagnostic found the thermostat not sending the signal to the heat element energized, isolated wires and manually energized heat components and is fully operational, advised client that the thermostat need replacement if the need of the electrical heat source, at this moment system is heating and cooling, advised to replace air filter regularly

On arrival dnstrs star was set at 78 and reading 77, system was running, thru discussion w it customer she had raised temp from 74 to 78 approximately 1hr prior. Upstrs stat was set at 80° and reading 80°.Temp test at 60° outdood Return air 84° and supply was 105° with second stage supply was 140° System function normal Comparing dnstrs to upstrs most all heat produced from dnstrs will rise to second floor

Service call completed, client stated thermostat was reseting itself, check system operations upon arrival, removed batteries that client installed, replace air filter, check system operations , no problem found at this moment, all systems vital are good at this time

Recall. Removed jumper in outdoor unit that was causing system to run in cooling regardless of thermostat setting . Tech 930 corrected thermostat configuration yesterday. Jumper was possibly left on by tech from previous company.
