Knowledgeable Technician

Very knowledgeable tech, showed up early which is not a bad thing. Diagnosed the problem quickly, however the part has to ordered, so it's TBD on when it will be fixed or repair price.

Great service

The guys were very nice. They had to cut the bush to get the job done so they went over and beyond of what was expected from them.

Bay Area Air

Bay Area Air comes through for me every time. I always get an education about my a/c system and my AprilAire dehumidifier which is complicated because of high humidity issues in my house. And the prices are very reasonable too.

Upon arrival i reinstalled old module that I removed and ordered. Homeowner told me not to reassemble it the last time I was here. I reassembled blower motor and reconnected damper wires that were ran infront of motor. Then powered system back on. Homeowner did not want to purchase motor

Found system in cooling pumping down to 10 psi and shutting off within 30 seconds due to restricted TX valve. System will still work in heating. Submitted information to parts department for price quote.

Upon arrival i started system in heat. Gas furnace. Between multiple phone calls i found blower motor not starting. I removed blower motor and tested. I installed a temp module just to test. It started. I could not use temp module so I removed and ordered new module. Homeowner do not want repair done till next Monday. Going out of town for new year.

Checked into the customers concern and I believe the stain on the ceiling is not from the HVAC system as no drains, copper, or duct work is where the stain is. The roof above the stain shows signs of water damage. Also the roof itself at that spot appears to be warped.

Completed the maintenance inspection. Found a weak capacitor. Customer decided to not use the parts warranty and got the upgraded aftermarket capacitor.

Upon arrival the float switch was tripped in secondary pan.i opened up csbinet and it was full of water. I found build up of rust and sludge in pan blocking float and drain. I found downspout tube full of the same causing blowoff of coil. I vacuumed all the water I could from plenums and airhandler. It kept dripping waterfront under cabinet. I found 2 screws holes in bottom of cabinet. Water that I could not reach kept dripping and filling secondary pan enough to trip float. I finally got water removed and all slime removed from pan and drainline. It is cooling and draining at this time. I told homeowner to run fan to dry out plenums and cabinet.

upon arrival the homeowner said there was a spark and one of the wire nuts to float was off and shorted when removing filter. The 3 amp fuse was blown and he had reinstalled wire nut prior to me getting there. I replaced 3 amp fuse. Then the homeowner gave his 3 amp fuse to install to avoid cost of fuse. It is cooling at this time.
