Upon arrival I found the customer system had a safety float switch wired to kill the condenser only and a clogged primary drain line. I sent an estimate to do a wire repair and flush the drain line. It was approved after flushing the drain line. I tested the system operations to find a bad TXV and a severely rusted evaporator coil. The system is 15 years old and the parts house was closed. I will get an estimate for repairs first thing Monday morning. I will also send a proposal with options on a new system install per customer request. I left the system how it was when I arrived. .
