Brendan was excellent, very knowledgeable and he represented Benson’s in the most positive way possible. Of all the technicians that Bensons has sent to my home for service work, Brendan was the most professional. Benson’s should promote Brendan to a higher level management position as soon as possible.

Supply air temperature: 103.8°F. Cleared the condensate drain line and tested the safety switch. Confirmed the drain line is strapped. Additional Actions: Restored power to the units. Tested the operation of the thermost
Today I performed a winter time tune up on your Heat Pump equipment. Overall everything looked good. I started by checking the difference in temperature between supply and return air. I observed a return of 69° while supply air was 112°F. Right where we want it. Outside I checked the operation of the compressor, condenser fan and their respective capacitor. Everything was within manufacturer specifications. The condenser and equipment pad were quite dirty. I spent most of my time cleaning the area up, hosing the coil out clearing the leaves from inside the unit and cleaning the equipment pad. Lastly I cleaned and treated the drain assembly to help prevent clogs. Thank you for choosing
01/27/2026- I arrived on site to find the furnace heating properly but at a lower efficiency due to an extremely dirty air filter. After I replaced the air filter with the customer provided filter I was able to confirm that the unit is heating properly with an over 30 degree temperature split between the supply and return side of the unit. The other potential factor as to why this unit is running often is due to how poorly insulated this house is, causing the warm air to escape outside often. However I have verified that the unit is heating properly at the time of service.

01/27/2026- I arrived on site to find both units for the main service workshop to be down. The issue with the far side unit was that it was tripped on a low ambient temperature fault due to one of the filter doors having its screws wallowing out. This caused the door to fall off allowing the cold outside air to interfere with its heating process. I have re-secured and re-sealed this door and tested the unit. The unit is now functioning properly and heating correctly at the time of service. The near side unit was down due to a compressor thermal lockout on compressor #2. Due to this thermal lockout I am unable to test the electrical components properly since the unit will not attempt to start until the compressor has cooled down. Due to this I informed the manager that I was able to get the far side unit working but we would have to come back tomorrow to verify the issues with the near side unit. I have pulled the disconnect for the faulty unit to prevent any damage and to allow the the
