Upon arrival, I found the customer heat pump split system, not working properly due to a grounded compressor. The compressor was causing the breaker to trip immediately. The compressor is no longer under any type of warranty however, Goodman was closed the day after Christmas so I will call Monday morning and get a price and availability so I can send a repair estimate. I have already sent a proposal with options on a new system install which is what I highly recommend Due to the age of the system.
Customer said the unit was making a loud noise while running. Found the blower wheel to have a piece of tape from fallen insulation trapped inside of it. Hung insulation back up and removed stuck tape. Sealed some leaking ductwork with metal mastic tape. Thank you for your business.
