Expensive

They were the first company to respond to our weekend phone call, that was great. However, when the first Tech arrived, the only thing he seemed interested in was talking about all of the additional things we could buy, even a new furnace. The diagnostic lights on my furnace said that it had a bad limit switch, the $170 service call told me what I already knew - a bad limit switch. It look three days to arrive and a total of $520 to get it replaced.

Completed replacement of gas furnace. Disconnected and removed old furnace and set new one on blocks in its place. Reconnected the electric, gas, pvc vent piping and ductwork. Ran a new condensate drain hose for the furnace, new AC coil. Installed a new T6 WiFi thermostat and connected it to the furnace. Run tested the furnace but will still need a technician start up on the furnace. Thank you for choosing Black-Haak Heating. Please take a moment to fill out our online survey.

We will need to come back to look at the rooftop unit. Blower is running but the unit won’t ignite. Duct work in the kitchen is blowing cold air. The rest of the building is heating fine. Might be a pilot or limit issue. We will return to confirm.

Completed installation of 2 Daikin 2 ton mini split head units, one on kitchen wall by the end of the bar and the other near the pool/women’s restroom. Set a new 4 ton Daikin mini spli condenser on the roof of the building. Disconnected original mini split ducted unit we installed in May and re-routed the lineset to connect in with the new 4 ton condenser along with new head mounted by pool area. Routed lineset for the new head unit by the bar to existing condenser on roof we installed in May of ‘18. Ran drain lines for both new head units to the basement floor drains. Pressurized linesets with 375 psi nitrogen to test for leaks and then evacuated to 500 microns. Released charge and did a complete start up procedure. Thank you for choosing Black-Haak heating.
