Thank you for your excellent service of the installation of our new furnace. The professional crew was excellent .. Hunter coming back to put in a new plate for the thermostat looks great. No hole from previous plate.
Arrival time at 9:30 was very fast. Tech checked system. Found problems. Service Manager came. Assessments were made. A new system was required. Measurements for sheet metal were made. Arrival at 1 or 1:30 for install was much appreciated. Over all experience was great. Happy Customers.
Service oriented company. My technician was friendly, competent, and let me know what products are available without being pushy.
Hunter was very polite and helpful in answering our questions. The office was very helpful in letting us know Hunter's arrival time.
Very professional and right on time for appointed time.
Great work, great explanation what was done when they finished.
Was here for an air conditioner no cool. Found that a dirty filter was restricting air in the air handler. Found that the evaporator coil had some ice build up on it. The customer will run the fan to allow the coil to unfreeze. Set the customer up with a air conditioning cleaning. Office is to call to schedule an appointment.
Ac clean and tune. Cycled system. Checked and cleaned electrical compartment. Found contactor and capacitors weak and low on test. Used coil cleaner on condenser. Hooked up gauges and checked pressures and temps. Subcooling was 29, super heat was 11, temp split was 20. Average life of this unit is 14 years, this system is 22+ years old and in very poor condition. Future failure is expected. Owner does not want to do anything with this unit at this time. He is aware of the failure possibility. Job complete. Office to bill. Job complete.
Performed the level 2 package cleaning. Furnace: Burners and flame sensor are clean. Heat exchanger looks good. Combustion readings were normal. No CO detected in the air. High limit passed the safety check. Temp rise was 50°. AC: No leaks detected. Electrical components tested good. Condenser coil is clean. Refrigerant charge was normal. Subcool was 7° with an 18° temp split. All equipment is running properly.
Ac not cooling he tried turning it on a couple times at the breaker but it wouldn’t start. When we arrived we checked voltages and found only one leg of power going to the unit. When we tried to open up the disconnect to check voltages it sparked and smoked. When we got it open we found a breaker terminal broken. Turned off at the breaker inside and wire nutted it outside. Talked to the owner and he wants to replace the disconnect and he wants a cleaning done on the ac as well. Office will call to make the appoiments. Thanks Brad
Performed preferred customer furnace cleaning. Cleaned the furnace. Checked the electrical. Cycled the furnace. Checked the gas pressure and performed a furnace combustion test. Did not find any issues. The furnace is running normally at this time.
Performed AC clean and tune; inspected the condenser electrical compartment and tested components, sprayed condenser with coil cleaner, cycled the system on and checked pressures and temps system was over charged I took out 12 ounces of refrigerant for a perfect subcool of 10 degrees, also made a fan adjustment to bring our temp split from 10 to 20 degrees. Job complete
No cool on the air conditioner. Tyler said it wasn’t blowing cold air and he noticed a chemical smell last week. I cycled the air conditioner. The blower motor turned on but the condenser wouldn’t run. I checked the wiring in the furnace. Found a loose wire for the air conditioner. I fixed the connection. The air conditioner is working and cooling now. I recommend having maintenance done to the air conditioner. Office will call to schedule that.
I completed a level 2 preferred customer cleaning on the A/C that has already been paid for. I checked the electrical. The contactor and capacitor look good. The compresssor is good. I cleaned the condenser with coil cleaner and water, pulled some grass clippings and wood chips out from around the compressor. I put the air conditioner back together and started it up. I ran the system for 10-15 minutes to let the refrigerant pressures stabilize. The refrigerant level looks good. The superheat is at 10* and the subcooling is at 16*, right where it should be. The temperature difference a crossed the indoor coil is 20*. The A/C is running the way it should be.
Performed paid for AC clean and tune; sprayed down condenser coil with cleaner, inspected and tested electrical components, as well as cycled the system on and checked pressures. This system is currently operating normal and cooling at 21 degrees. Job complete
Performed furnace clean and tune. The furnace is operating properly at this time.
I installed the thermostat cover plate. System is heating properly.
Performed the new furnace start up. No gas leaks detected. Gas and exhaust levels are normal. No CO detected in the air. Drain is clear. Venting and electrical components are properly installed. Heat rise was 48 degrees. High limit passed the safety check. Unit is heating properly at this time.
Completed replacement of gas furnace. Disconnected and removed old furnace and set new one on blocks in its place. Reconnected the electric, gas, pvc vent piping and ductwork. Ran a new condensate drain hose for the furnace, new AC coil. Installed a new T6 WiFi thermostat and connected it to the furnace. Run tested the furnace but will still need a technician start up on the furnace. Thank you for choosing Black-Haak Heating. Please take a moment to fill out our online survey. Â Â
Furnace wasn’t heating every now and then. There were no fault codes on the furnace when I arrived. I checked the drain, it was clear. I checked the pressure switch tubing, it was clear. Checked the flame sensor. It was dirty. I cleaned the flame sensor. Cycled the furnace multiple times. It’s operating properly at this time. We will schedule a time to clean the furnace.
2/18/19. Removed old furnace. Installed new daikin furnace. Installed metal to connect furnace to duct. Switched the space-gard filter rack around so it is facing forward. Installed filter upgrade kit and 213 filter. Connected the gas pipe to new furnace. Connected pvc to exhaust and intake on furnace. Switched venting outside. Reconnected electrical and thermostat wiring to furnace. Installed and setup t6 WiFi stat upstairs. Ran new drain hose from furnace and coil to floor drain. Started furnace and everything is running and draining properly. Thank you for choosing Black-Haak heating for your heating needs.
