Team was most considerate, patient, and open to questions. Text messages were great showing/telling who was coming, etc. Phone service excellent. Great company with customer service outstanding!
Hunter helped to reset thermostat and reload app on my phone, very pleasant young man
Fast and reliable company. Hard to find now a days. Highly recommend.
Very professional. Great service and fair pricing. 5 star service.
The guys were good and cleaned up after themselves.

Furnace clean and tune. Cycled system. Checked heat exchanger. Found areas of light rust and corrosion. No cracks found at this time. Removed, cleaned and checked burners and flame sensor. Igniter tested ok. Checked and adjusted gas pressures to maximize efficiency. Normal levels of co and XS air found in exhaust. No CO found in Airstream. System operating normal at this time. Job complete.
Performed preferred customer furnace cleaning. Cleaned the burners and the flame sensor. Checked the furnace heat exchanger. Wiped down the inside of the furnace. Checked the electrical. Cycled the furnace. Performed a furnace combustion test. The furnace is running normally at this time.
Furnace start up. Cycled unit. Did gas leak search no leaks found. Electrical connections and clamps are tight. Checked and adjusted gas pressures to maximize efficiency. Normal temp rise found. Checked levels of CO and XS air in exhaust. Normal levels found. No CO found in airstream. Wired up condensate pump and line to drain next to washing machine. System operating normal at this time. Job complete.
Completed AC replacement. Recovered old refrigerant and disconnected the old condenser and coil. Set and leveled a new pad and placed new condenser on it. Installed new coil in the plenum above the furnace. Flushed the existing lineset and reconnected it to the condenser and coil. Pressurized with 500 psi nitrogen to test for leaks and then evacuated it to under 500 microns. Released the factory refrigerant charge and did a complete start up procedure. Thank you for choosing Black-Haak Heating and Electrical. Please take a moment to fill out our online survey.
Performed preferred customer furnace cleaning. Cleaned the burners and the flame sensor. Checked the furnace heat exchanger. Wiped down the inside of the furnace. Checked the electrical. Cycled the furnace. Performed a furnace combustion test. No issues with the furnace at this time. The customer was concerned about the furnace making a squeaking noise. Found that the furnace filter is really dirty and is causing air to be sucked around and through the ductwork connections. Recommend replacing the filter. Called the office to have them order some new electrostatic filters. Checked on the dehumidifier. Changed the filter with the customers filter. The unit is pulling the moisture out of the air and working normally at this time. We still need to come back for the air conditioner next spring. Office to call in the spring to schedule the cleaning.
No cool. The air conditioner isn’t keeping up. I checked the pressures and tempseratures on the air conditioner. Found the air conditioner is low on Freon causing it not to keep up. I also checked the ac system for Freon leaks. I found the evaporator coil has a Freon leak. The air conditioner is 14 years old and should be replaced. I adjusted the fan speed higher, the ac is cooling better but it will eventually get worse. Office will schedule dan to double check the system and quote prices on a new air conditioner.
We completed the level 2 packaged cleaning. Removed and cleaned the burners and pilot assembly. Inspected the heat exchanger, found a couple of questionable spots on the heat exchanger, smoke tested the heat exchanger and it failed. The exhaust readings look ok. Due to the age of the furnace I recommend having my supervisor come out to go over furnace options to avoid any downtime during the heating season. Checked the electrical on the condenser, all good. Check the indoor coil for leaks electronically, wasn’t able to pinpoint anything. Cleaned the condenser coil. Checked the refrigerant charge, looks ok. Temperature difference inside is 20*. The system is running properly.
Cycled system. Checked and cleared drain line. Checked and cleaned electrical compartment. Used coil cleaner on condenser coil. Hooked up gauges and checked pressures and temps. Indoor coil was 40, subcooling was 10, indoor split was 17. System operating normal at this time. Job complete.
Performed the level 2 furnace cleaning. Burners and flame sensor are clean. Heat exchanger looks is rusting and chipping, however, no cracks located at this time. Combustion readings were normal. No CO detected in the air. Drain is clear. Heat rise was 49°. High limit passed the safety check. Unit is heating properly.
Preformed Furnace T&C. Removed burners and flame sensor, brushed and cleaned both then reinstalled. Checked gas pressure and adjusted gas pressures to 3.5 wci. Tested inducer motor. Checked and cleaned blower assembly. Checked filter. Cleaned drain lines to furnace. Checked safety switches (pressure, gas, high limit, flame) Completed
Performed the level 2 package cleaning. Furnace: Burners and flame sensor are clean. Heat exchanger looks good. Combustion readings were normal. No CO detected in the air. Drain is clear. Heat rise was 35°. AC: No leaks detected. Electrical components tested good. Condenser coil is clean. Refrigerant charge was normal. Subcool was 12° with a 17° temp split. All equipment is operating properly.
Was here for a 1st year furnace cleaning. Performed preferred customer furnace cleaning. Cleaned the burners and the flame sensor. Checked the heat exchanger. Wiped out the inside of the furnace. Checked the electrical. Cycled the furnace. Checked the gas pressure and performed a furnace combustion test. The furnace is running normally at this time. Took a look at the Humidifier. Found that the humidifier is not working. Checked for proper voltage. The humidifier has voltage going to it. The transformer in the humidifier is most likely bad. Office to look up the warranty information on the humidifier and schedule an appointment to repair the humidifier.
Furnace safety check. Cycled system. Removed flame sensor and cleaned. Checked heat exchanger. All chambers are worn and rusted. No cracks found at this time. Checked and adjusted gas pressures to maximize efficiency. Found blower motor bearings worn. Noisy on start up and shut down. Ventor motor bearings are starting to show signs of being worn as well. Cycled system and checked levels of CO and XS air in exhaust. Both CO and XS air are elevated. This is indications of secondary heat exchanger blockage. No CO found in airstream. Ac. Checked indoor coil with refrigerant sniffer, found some indications of a small leak. Cycled system. Checked electrical compartment. Found large rodent nest across contactor. Minor wire damage due to nest found. Contactor and capacitor appear to be original and very worn. Capacitor tested low. Compressor and fan motor tested in caution. Tested pressures and temps. System is slightly low. Average life expectancy for both units is 14 years with regular ma
Pkg clean and tune. Ac. Cycled system. Checked and cleaned electrical compartment. Found capacitor and contactor free of rust and corrosion. Compressor and fan motor tested normal. Used coil cleaner on condenser coil. Unable to check pressures and temps due to temps lower than 55 degrees. Will come back this spring for pressure check. Furnace. Cycled system. Removed, checked and cleaned burners and flame sensor. Both ok. Igniter tested normal. Checked and adjusted gas pressures to maximize efficiency. Heat exchanger was clear. Checked electrical connections and clamps. Cycled system and checked for CO and XS air in exhaust. Normal levels of both found. No CO found in airstream. Dehumidifier was leaking onto basement floor. Found that DR 90 filter was very clogged. Thin layer of ice was on coil of dehumidifier. Cleared drain lines. Found water past drain pan on lower part of unit which was leaking onto floor. Replaced filter with new. No more leaks found. Cycled humidifier, cycled no
