Furnace start up. Cycled system. Checked electrical connections and clamps. Found ventor motor clamp installed incorrectly. Removed and installed correctly. Tightened connections. Checked incoming gas pressure. Checked and adjusted outgoing gas pressures to maximize efficiency. Checked and adjusted drain line. Preformed combustion test and normal levels found. Customer pointed out damage to vibration boot on supply trunk. This may have been caused from duct work moving due to install. Office to follow up for repair appointment. System operating normal at this time. Job complete.
No heat. Cycled system. Igniter would energize, flame would light, then system would drop out. Cycled several times with similar results. Removed burner box and gas manifold. Checked igniter, tested normal. Checked low voltage. Correct voltage. High voltage was tested. Correct voltage. Cleaned and checked flame sensor. Flame sensor was very corroded and dirty. Re installed burner box and flame sensor. Cycled system. System fired normal and continued to operate normal for over 15 mins. System is in major need of maintenance to help ensure proper operation. Performed a preferred customer furnace cleaning. Cleaned the burners and the flame sensor. Checked the furnace heat exchanger. Wiped down the inside of the furnace. Checked the electrical. Cycled the furnace and performed a furnace combustion test. No issues with the furnace at this time.

Furnace clean and tune. Cycled system. Checked heat exchanger. Found some rust and corrosion in all chambers. No visible cracks found with camera. Cleared drain line. Found some obstructions. Checked and tightened electrical connections and clamps. Checked and cleaned flame sensor. Found heavy corrosion on flame sensor. Cleaned as best as I can. Igniter tested normal. Found evidence of bearings getting worn in Ventor motor. Preformed combustion test, normal levels found in exhaust. No CO found in airstream. When cycling system to heat, thermostat would not allow me to increase set temp. Customer stated that they have issues two times that furnace would shut down prematurely. This, along with the situation I found when dealing with thermostat, indicates that the thermostat is failing. I recommend replacement of thermostat. Average life expectancy for this unit is 14 years. This system is past that time period and future failure is expected. Recommend second opinion for options to avoid

Performed furnace clean and tune. Found the ignitor is weak and the exhaust motor bearings are wearing out. The furnace is 12 years old. Average life expectancy is 12-15 years. The furnace is heating at this time.
Performed two preferred customer fireplace cleanings. Wiped down and vacuumed both of the fireplaces. Cleaned the pilot assembly. Cleaned the fireplace glass. Tested both the fireplaces. No issues with the units at this time.

Average life expectancy for this unit is 14 years. This unit is showing signs of getting worn. Due to age, condition, and cost of repair, second opinion is recommended. System operating normal at this time, but future failure is expected. Removed old heat register and installed new. Fireplace clean and tune. Cycled fireplace. Ok. Cleaned glass. Cleaned walls, logs, ignition system, and under unit. Cleaned ignition system as best as I could. It is very hard to reach due to its placement to the manifold. System operating
