Chapin furnace maintenance with comprehensive system evaluation. Conducted full heat exchanger inspection using borescope technology. Cleaned primary and secondary heat exchanger surfaces. Measured temperature rise and performed combustion gas analysis. Checked and calibrated blower motor amperage. Verified carbon monoxide levels and safety switch operations.
In Chapin, SC, I conducted maintenance on a Lennox Merit ML193 gas furnace. I cleaned the burners, inspected the blower wheel for debris, and replaced the 20x25x1 filter. The heat exchanger was tested for leaks, and the flame sensor was polished. Post-service testing confirmed efficient operation and safe heating.

Arrived on site to perform REIL on one split system. Found blower motor capacitor to be low out of spec. Found drain line missing safety switch on the trap or secondary drain pan. Recommend replacing blower motor capacitor and installing easy trap and SS2 safety. Also, based on age of the system and current condition would recommend considering getting on a maintenance plan to extend the life of the system. Emailed customers estimate for repairs and maintenance plan options. System operating at time of departure. Pictures in CompanyCam

Dispatched to customers home to remove short 50 gallon electric water heater and install new 50 gallon electric water heater in compliance with current code. I began draining the water heater after I disconnected the power and turned off the water supply to it, but because of sediment issues, I was unable to drain it using a garden hose. I had to remove the T&P and drain it into a 5 gallon bucket several times in order to get it light enough to extract it through the crawlspace door. I then installed the new 50 gallon water heater with an electrical disconnect, expansion tank, and shut off valve on the cold side. I pro pressed to the copper on the hot side and adapted the three-quarter inch CPVC on the cold side to supply the tank. When finished, I reattached the vapor barrier to the bottom of the tank and ran the drain for the T&P through the brick wall under the deck. See company cam for details on my work. Tank is working wonderfully and client is happy. Thank you for choosing Caro
