August in Boston is hot & high humidity. Caring for my 91 year old Mom is one of my highest priorities. Received a dreaded email from our thermostat—-AC is not working. Within hours of my first contact with Central Cooling & Heating support, they dispatched a HVAC tech to our home. Vlas was professional, a top notch tech, and diagnosed the problem-unfortunately the Carrier Supplier did not have the parts in stock—and no ETA. Jamie D (CC&H Parts Coordinator) quickly called us, telling us that she tried to get the parts from several sources-but not available-and no ETA; she wanted to send a second tech to see if they could find a ‘work around’ to get the system working while waiting for parts. Tech Dave quickly arrived, very experienced, and tried some ‘work arounds’- he even called(at 6 PM on a Friday !) a field service manager named Brian B.... who has been to our home before and is a real stickler for detail, unfortunately none worked, but Dave said that he thought he could find the correct part- now it is 6:10 PM on Friday night- and the suppliers are closed. But he would contact Jamie D, and ask her to work her magic in finding the parts on Saturday morning. Bright and early on Saturday morning, got a call from Jamie D, we found the parts, and tech will be there soon! Tech Ioannis P. arrived with the parts. He had already been in contact with Vlas and Dave(the first two techs), knew exactly what was done, and what needed to be done. Just like Vlas, and Dave, Ioannis was a top notch tech with lots of experience. He installed the parts, double checked everything, and started the system up, cold air ! Success. Ioannis checked out the system in several modes—was working perfectly! Wonderful team work! What a great repair experience-thank you Central Cooling & Heating.
