I think the cost of the part was over priced

Thank you for your feedback. We comply with Industry Standard parts & equipment rates. We only install Manufacturer Approved parts to maintain warranty requirements. The cost of manufactured approved parts includes Administrative fees to locate, inspect and handle shipping to ensure the parts meet manufacturer requirements. The proper disposal of broken HVAC parts is also included in the rate to adhere with environmental responsibilities. Manufacturers will void warranties if parts installed were purchased online or at a public retail facility. We will install customer purchased parts as is only. Breakdowns of HVAC systems due to customers purchased part will not be the responsibility COPHC.
