Not real happy, took out my $12.00 NEW 3M filter that I put in 2 weeks ago and replaced it with a cheap $ 3.00 no name brand and didn't say anything to me. I happened to stumble on it a week later. Also, blower making a big bang when shutting off and I asked about it and tech did NOTHING to fix it, Now I have to find time off from work again to get someone to come out to fix it.

Install new Taco ZVC406 (six zone low voltage control). Test each zone upon completion of repair. Complete routine boiler maintenance after repair including combustion analysis and cleaning the boiler trap. Allow up to 3 hours to complete the work. ****PA will order parts for repair through Ferguson.**** 6/23/22-PT- removed the old taco control box and installed a new taco zvc406 control box. Installed the control box wire for wire. Removed and cleaned out the trap for the system and bleed the gas line to remove any air. I turned the system on and observed the taco control box operating properly. However the system will not fire up. Error code for no flame . Recommend replacing the control board and gas valve due to lighting strike on the home. This is a Weil-McLain boiler model #gv90+5, serial #2, cp# 7078566. Chud will have to reach out to the homeowner with a repair quote. Collecting for the control box today, the preventative maintenance could not be completed.

Diagnostic work found an existing Taco 6 zone low voltage valve control panel was damaged as a result of a lightning strike. One zone is still working, however the panel sustained damage and will not allow any other zones to work. Chud has provided a quote to replace the panel. It is possible that zone valves may have been damaged, but very unlikely if the heater was off during the storm. Chud will complete preventative maintenance after repair to ensure no other issues are present. ***Gas and power shut off to boiler until we return to repair boiler.*** Weil McLain GV90PLUS, CP7078566.

Performed preventative maintenance for heat pump system during air conditioning season. Customer replaced the Merv 11 16x25x5 air filter. Inspected all the electrical components. Confirmed proper high and low voltages. Tested the amp draw for the compressor and fan motor. All were operating within the manufacturer specs. Tested the temperature split between the supply and return. System is operating at a 20° differential on an 81° day. Went through all operations of the unit with the customer so they know how it works. Inspected the gravity drain. Drain is clear and operating properly at this time. System is an attic unit. The air handler will be very difficult to access if any electrical problems as well as repairs need to be made. Recommend rotating to improve serviceability. System is 2 years old and I’m not sure as to why it was installed this way. Call for a quote if you would like it rotated. System is operating properly at this time.

On arrival nothing was functioning including indoor fan. Homeowner advised that he recently replaced the thermostat. Corrected a minor wiring issue and tested the system for heat, fan on, and air conditioning. Everything is currently operational. Due to the age of the air conditioning unit, we do not want to perform any system maintenance at this time. Chud would recommend upgrading the equipment at some point. Furnace is a 2014 model. Ac coil and condenser is a Nortek product that runs on R-22 style refrigerant. We will address any service issues as they arise. (3 ton condenser and coil). Performed preventative maintenance for a carrier system. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. Tested the drain pan, drain line and condensate pump with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. The homeowner recently replaced the air filter 16x21x1. Checked all electrical components needed for air conditioning. The blower motor amp draw is at a 1.6 however the blower is stuttering and is not operating properly. The blower motor will need to be replaced before Chud can complete the preventative maintenance. Performed preventative maintenance for a crown boiler system. The auto fill on the system is not operating properly and will need to be replaced. I had to open the shut off valve manually fill the boiler since it was empty. Water pressure is at 15 psi, limit is set for 180. I observed the system starting normally.

Came out today for a ac system freezing up. Upon inspection I found that the temperature split was at a 12. I connected my gauges and noticed that the system was low on refrigerant. The system was installed by Chud on 6/26/15. The system is still under warranty so I added 2lbs of 410-a and one ez seal stick. The temperature split is now at 20. I advised the homeowner to let the system run and if it freezes again we will come out and do a leak investigation at a cost of $217. The leak investigation will tell us where the leak is so Chud can give the homeowner a proper quote for repair. The ez seal stick is not a guaranteed fix but an attempt to fix the issue. Customer called for air conditioning stopped working. System was just recently running fine and just stopped cooling. Upon inspection I found the 40+10 dual capacitor fully dead reading 0.2+0.2. In 2019 the capacitor failed early July and then a week or two Later the condenser fan motor went bad. Observing the system and the space above the fan outlet is approximately 2.5 feet. Minimal required space for proper system operation is 4 feet and most likely causing these premature failures. Customer is interested in getting a quote to move condenser around the corner away from under the deck. I will take pictures of the area and add them to customer file so we may come up with best solution. Replaced the capacitor today to get the system operational. Rechecked the amp draw on fan motor and compressor with new capacitor. Fan motor is rated up to 1.1A. Fan motor was reading 1.2A. Compressor is rated for 14.1A. Actual compressor amperage reading was 7.7A. With the fan motor being replaced in
