The team here at Chud loves to see 5 star reviews! Thank you Richard.
I was able to schedule an appointment right away. The Chud team arrived on time and were very professional. My dryer vent exits above a second story window and snakes through 2 walls, so it was a bit tricky. I'm very happy with their work.

Model # XC21-036-230-06 Serial # 5811F14762 Completed a preventative maintenance on a Lennox air conditioner. Customer changed out 16x25x4 filer. When I arrived I took a split temperature and it was 21 that tells me the refrigerant levels are good. Then I made sure the condensate pump is working. Then I went out and performed a amperage readings on the condenser fan motor running at .98 amps and the compressor running at 9.2 amps both are operating properly. Then I tested the capacitor it is not in range, I did replace the Capacitor. System is tested and operating properly at this time.
Performed a 2nd floor dryer vent cleaning and removed clog. Dryer vent, duct, flex duct and lint trap are all clear of lint and debris at this time. Dryer is functioning properly at this time and exhaust flow is optimal. Recommend dryer vent cleaning every 1-2 years. Thank you for your business!
Installed a new 80 gallon electric Bradford white hot water. I isolated the old hot water heater and drained it out. Once the system was drained I disconnected the wiring and cut the copper lines. Installed a new 80 gallon electric hot water heater and used 3/4 copper pro press fittings. I made sure all the wiring was wired properly. I opened the cold water side and checked my fittings for leaks. Once the system was filled I powered the system up. I let the homeowner know it will take a couple of hours for the water to heat properly. The system is operating properly at this time. Model #Sle280t6-1sevv, serial #Yl50525329.
Replaced existing expansion tank with m# PFXT5I. After installing the tank I bled out the sinks then started the water heater and made sure their was no leaks. System is operating properly at this point.
Did a maintenance on a Goodman gas furnace. During the maintenance I clean the flame sensor, also cleaned out the burner box and the blower motor housing. Checked amps on the inducer motor and blower motor which both me to furnace specs. Changed out the 20 x 28x 4 pop-up filter. Also cleared out inducer port. System is operating properly at this point. I will be recommending a new expansion tank for the water heater because it has failed. M# GMEC800804BNAA s#1908095594
Did a preventative maintenance on a LP furnace. During the maintenance I clean the flame sensor. Cleaned out the burner box and the blower motor housing. Did a amp check on the inducer motor and the blower motor which both meet the furnace specs. Changed out the 20 x 25 x 1 filter did a combustion test the ppm was 31. Also cleaned out the trap and made sure it was draining properly and service the humidifier changed out the number 35 panel wiped the entire thing down and made sure the drain was clear. System is operating properly at this point. M#EL296UH110XV60C-05 s#5915K06383
Did a preventative maintenance on a gas furnace. Clean the flame sensor, did an amp check on the inducer motor and the blower motor Both are running in furnace specs. Also did a combustion test the ppm what is 31 oxygen level was 8 and The efficiency was 93%. Customer changed out 16 x 25 x 5 filter. Also made sure it was draining properly and that the condensate pump is working. System is operating properly at this point. M# SLP98UH090V60C-02 s#5911E22738

Performed a 4 bedroom duct cleaning. Hooked up the hepa vacuum and blew out each supply and return vent with compressed air. We also cleaned the supply and return truck lines. After that we sanitized throughout all ductwork. System is working properly at this time.
Performed air duct cleaning and sanitation on a 3 bedroom single system house. All vents and ductwork are clear of dust and debris at this time. System is functioning properly at this time. Dryer is functioning properly at this time. Recommend dryer vent cleaning every 1-2 years. Thank you for your business!
Performed a preventive maintenance for air-conditioning system. This maintenance free with new install. Didn’t need to replace the #401 Media Air Filter at this time. Filter was still in fair shape. Customer does supply them. Inspected all the electrical components. Inspected the gravity drain that goes to the French drain 4 feet away. Drain piping is clear flowing without restrictions. Tested the amp draw from the compressor, blower and fan motor. All are operating within manufacturer spec. Tested the temperature split between the supply and return. System is operating at a 20° differential on an 88° day. Wrapped a little bit of insulation around the TXV due to it sweating causing moisture to run down the coil cabinet into furnace. Insulation will prevent it from sweating. Confirmed proper high and low voltages. System is operating properly at this time.
Performed preventative maintenance on Lennox AC system. Replaced 20x25x1 air filter provided by the customer. Tested evaporator coil pan and condensate drain line for proper drainage. Temperature split is at 22° With a supply air temperature of 46°. This unit has bathe proper refrigerant charge. Compressor-7.2 RLA Condenser fan motor-1.0FLA . Both of these readings are within the amperage rating for this unit. System is operating properly at this time and is ready for the upcoming season.
Removed the old condenser coil. Installed the new condenser coil and brazed in all connections. Pressure tested with nitrogen to ensure that there are no leaks. Pulled a vacuum and got the system to 500 microns. I charged the system with 7lbs of 410-A refrigerant and ran the system. The system has a temperature split of 20°. And the refrigerant pressures are 110/253. The system is operating properly at this time and is ready for the air conditioning season.
Came out today for a Lennox heat pump that has a leak in the condenser coil. Lennox heat pump model #14hpx-030-230-22, serial #1918j10671. Upon arrival the homeowner stated that another company came out to investigate the system not operating (through the home warranty). They charged the system with nitrogen and told the homeowner he had a leak. Upon arrival the system had a slight nitrogen charge and I could hear it leaking. I used micro leak bubbles around the area that was hissing. Sure enough there is a leak in the elbow of the condenser coil. The condenser coil will have to be replaced and the system should be covered under the manufacture warranty.
