Customer called for no heat. Former owners of this house used chud as hvac technicians. Upon inspection, I found that the pilot light was out in the old York furnace. Thermocouple was replaced Feb 2022. Was able to relight the pilot and clear the pilot assembly of debris. Tested system upon completion. System is operating as it should at this time. Spoke in depth with customer that it is time to update the furnace due to age and condition. Furnace is 30 years old and air conditioning is 20 years old. AC was updated by Chud in 2003 but is now obsolete equipment. Customer is interested in getting a quote for a new system after I explain the age and condition of everything.
