Performed preventative maintenance on a Lennox AC system. Upon arrival the system was off. I turned the system on at the thermostat. Went to the room and watched the system run. Turned the system off at the switch. Opened the panel to the evaporator coil. Inspected the coils for any dust build up. Poured water into the condensate trap and watched the water drain properly. Poured water into the condensate line and watched water drain properly. Removed the panels to the the furnace. Checked the electrical connections to make sure they were properly secure. Checked the blower motor and fan for any dust build up. Changed the 14x20x1 filter. Closed the panels and watched the unit run. Went outside to the condenser and watched it run. Checked the coils for any dirt build up. Removed the panel and brushed out any spiderwebs. Checked the contactor and capacitor. Both are running within the manufacture’s specs. Took an amp draw for the fan, .83. Took an amp draw for the compressor, 5.68 amps. P
Performed preventative maintenance on a LENNOX AC unit. Model number: 13ACD-036-230-16. Serial number: 1912E59419. Upon arrival the unit was on at the thermostat. Homeowner adjusted the thermostat down so the AC would keep running. Went upstairs to the unit and watched it run. Turned the unit off by the switch. Removed the evaporator coil panel and checked the coils for any dust build up. Poured water into the condensate trap and watched the water drain properly. Poured water into the condensate drain line and watched it drain properly. Removed the panel to the furnace. Checked the blower motor and fan for any dust build up. Checked all electrical connections to make sure they were properly secure. Changed the 16x25x1 filter supplied by the homeowner. Took an amp draw of he blower motor. It is running within the manufacture’s specs. Placed the panels back in the unit and went outside to the condenser and watched the unit run. Checked the coils for any dirt build up. Removed the panel.

I powered down the system and removed the access panel. The evaporator coil’s are clean and in good condition. Tested the drain pan, drain line with several bottles of water to ensure that there are no leaks or clogs. I replaced the air filter size 16x25x4 merv8 supplied by the homeowner. I checked all electrical connections to ensure that they are secure and in good condition. I powered down the humidifier for the season and turned off the water. I re attached the access panels and powered the system back up. I called for AC and observed the system starting normally. The condenser coil’s are dirty but in good condition. The condenser amp draws are 10.02 for the compressor and 1.22 for the fan. The temperature split is at a 18° differential. The system is operating at this time. Performed a amperage readings on the blower motor and condenser fan motor both are operating properly. Water tested drain line from the evaporator coil everything drained properly system is working properly at this time.

Manufacturer Lennox Model # 13ACXN036-230-17 Serial # 1915E29700 Completed a preventative maintenance on a Len unit. I was taking the split temperature and it was only 9 degrees. The system was low on 4-10a. I added a pound of refrigerant so I could properly perform the maintenance. Changed out 16x25x1 filter. Did a amp check on the condenser fan motor and compressor both are working properly at this point. After adding 1 pound of 4-10A system is operating properly at this time.
Came out today for a no ac call. Upon arrival I found the York package unit calling for ac but not operating. Model #Zf036n08a2aaa2, serial #N1c4533555. I set up my 28 foot ladder that barely made it and went on the roof. I opened the access panel and noticed a loose connection on the contactor. I powered the system down and tightened the connection. I powered the system back up and it fired right up. I observed the system running for 20 minutes. The temperature split is at a 20° differential. The system is operating properly at this time. Highly recommend performing maintenance on both rooftop units. Both York package units , 3 phase, natural gas, no belt on blower motor. Both systems have 2 filter racks inside sized 15x30x2. Spoke with customer regarding a commercial agreement. He is interested and would like a price submitted to him. The condenser coils are clean and in good condition. The condenser amp draws are .82 for the fan and 8.96 for the compressor. The temperature split is at a 19° differential. The system is operating properly at this time. No charge for today the homeowner is a CCM. I did present the home with options to help improve the home.
