It’s been quite the roller coaster ride...



It’s been quite the roller coaster ride of an experience with CJS. Tony was nice, he came out explained the AC and furnace. I had 3 other companies come out and ultimately I decidedto go with CJS with the replacement bundle. I was given finance options and I was thankfully able to be approved to start the work done. I’m a teacher so I decided to have the work done over my spring break. I was told it woukd take all day of the one day. In all truth it took 2 full days and I can’t rememer if it took part of a third but the timing was off and it was a full day each day, not running my spring break by certainly not fun. Each time different men came out and that’s fine it’s just they needed to call the supervisor or project manager with questions almost like starting over when they came to do the work. About a month went by where I didn’t have to use heat or AC and the day I turned my AC on I noticed the air never felt cool and my AC ran for 19 hours trying to cool. This happened over several days and I called and a gentlemen came out (I won’t list any names although I know them =)) and discovered the water that was standing near the equipment and the ruined filters due to water. He leveled the bottom of the equipment and said the problem was fixed. It wasn’t. Next day same thing, water and AC ran for 18 hours straight trying to cool down. Another young gentlemen came while I had family over during Memorial Day and stayed for hours leveling the unit again, checking levels And said my levels were off and did something to the pipe that now drains into another spot. I am thinking $7000+ I financed and have stretched my budget to the max to make this happen and no more problems, Lord please no more problems. Wrong. The AC until will not hold a temperature. I have now sent emails to my original sales guy, and to the company. While emailing I was waiting for someone to show up for a call to come and look At my system and I call the after hours and ask if my person was ok was their an accident, no call back. Now that it’s hours after my scheduled Time I get a call from the GM. He tells me he’s sending someone right away. Did they forget? Was I even on the schedule.? Individual shows up spends hours at my home baffled why the temp on the thermostat says one thing and the house is reading another temperature. After calling the GM and deciding it’s because my ducts maybe need cleaned and the placement of my current thermostat (The Nest) I need to move it down further on the wall. I’m hesitant,I don’t want this done right away and think about my options. I forgot, I also called in and ordered new filters to be shipped to me and it was 2 weeks that went by and hadn’t received them??. When I called I was told the girl had trouble ordering them but when they were re ordered by another woman in training they came 3 days later? Hmmmm? I finally came to the decision that I will Replace the Nest with a Honeywell 9000 that CJS has and see if that makes a difference?? It’s been one Day, the hottest day of the year so far and my AC has not stopped running so, I will wait. It’s hot I Get that, but if this AC keeps Running and Running and not cooling my house to the scheduled temperature and I’m Sent another technician I honestly have no idea what to do? BBB? 6 on your side? This has been a nightmare.
