I found pressure relief valve stuck open. I removed and cleaned out relief valve. I reinstalled relief valve 4 feet higher using black iron pipe. I checked and set limit. Checked and set gas pressure. Bleed accessible baseboard radiators. Could not get to two radiators due to stuff in the way.
Cleaned & checked gas furnace. Inspected heat exchanger & flue venting. cleaned burners & flame sensor. Checked voltage & amp draw of motors. Test capacitor. Replaced air filter. Set thermostat for gas heat. Blower: 5.2A . Inducer: 1.15A . Gas pressure: 3.5 inches water column. Temperature rise: 44 . Supply: 117 . Return: 73 .
Customer stated they found ice at outdoor unit. I turned on system and checked operation. Freon level is good. Customer had replaced very dirty air filter. Dirty filter had caused iced up system. New filter that is in system now is restricting airflow. TXV system is running at 19 degrees superheat. condenser coil: dirty. Compressor: 9.6A .Condenser fan: .85A. Furnace maintenance on Lennox system
Cleaned and checked air conditioner. Check drain. Check voltage and amp draw of motors. Test capacitors. Checked Freon level: Low. Temperature drop only 13.5. Humidity: 56%. Topped off to proper level per superheat chart. System may have a Freon leak. Found low latent heat to sensible heat removal ratio. Enthalpy Delta: 5.75. I adjusted blower speed for proper dehumidification and efficiency. Cleaned condenser coil. Compressor:14A .Condenser fan: 1.25A.
