From the first conversation to the techs coming to our house, was a smooth. I appreciated how we got same day service.
Jon arrived on time and was able to explain the problem and what was needed to fix it. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend him to friends and family
Definitely friendly and considerate guy
A very knowledgeable and friendly person. Would recommend them for service.
Sam was professional, courteous and efficient. He presented me a few different options for the list of repairs I had. No pressure, I decided on the most imperative jobs and he set to work. He was quite quick to complete the job. I also liked that he wore slip on covers for his shoes as well as putting cover cloths on the floor and he cleaned up very nicely when the task was complete. Sam showed me the work areas and preventative measures to take with the connections to keep them in good working order. I am impressed.
Richard’s communications and services were great
Today I came to Victors Airdrie home because the hydronic heating system is not working properly. Upon diagnostic of the system I found it to be in poor condition. The systems design is poor at best and heats up the water only to cool it off. The boiler controller has failed and can not sustain the proper call for heat. The zone controller has also failed and gives a call to heat to the tv room constantly which has caused the zone valve to fail open. The system pump is wired into the boiler pump and runs even when there is no call for heat. The testable back flow valve is leaking. The thermostatic mixing valve no longer works and sends too hot water to the under slab when the temperature is increased. The heat exchanger is badly soiled. There is no water softener in the home and the furnace is from 2004 and is known for secondary heat exchanger issues. Furnace inspection: Upon inspection of the furnace I Tested and adjusted the gas valve, burners, gas pressure and temperature rise.
Today I came to Rommel’s Airdrie home because he is getting quotes for a garage unit heater and water softener. Rommel was not available but I was able to speak with his wife and see the garage. The gas line and electrical is in place already. A 30000 btu or 45000 btu unit will both work to heat the space. I have provided 2 quotes for unit heaters and 2 quotes for water softeners for Rommel to review.
I attended a furnace tune up for Leighton in the Airdrie area, during my inspection I found the inducer motor to be at rated capacity, gas pressures slightly low, pressures switch failed once during test due to water build up in condensate trap, exhaust venting slope could be a little better. I have provided the customers with several options for air quality and improvements, they currently have extended warranty through the builder and will be bringing up and issues with them for necessary repairs.
Oct.29 Today I came out to perform a furnace tune up in Richard’s Ravenwood home. I adjusted the gas valve to Goodman spec and made sure all components were operating correctly. The only concern is that their intake vent is dripping water and their termination is completely off. Richard and his wife already knew about this and I explained the importance of having this fix. They explained that it may still be under warranty but it may also not be under warranty. We will be sending a quote for the repair Monday giving details. They are also interested in our family plan and would like for somebody to call them and give them details about this amazing service. Richard and his wife were quite happy with my knowledge and service. 10/10.

We arrived at Dana’s house in Airdrie. Upon our arrival we found that the Telus installed thermostat was wired incorrectly, they had wired w to w2 which was the reason for the furnace not working. I moved the wire from w2 to w and the furnace fired. I did a thorough diagnostic of the furnace and found that the inducer motor was running hot and had high amperage reading indicating that the motor should be replaced. I also noted some drywall debris and dust inside the blower compartment suggesting a duct cleaning would be beneficial for better home air quality as well as the burners being dirty. Dana decided that just the diagnostic to be done at this time.
I came to Cathy’s residence today in Williamstown Airdrie and she had called us about a leaking hot water tank upon a thorough inspection it appeared that the hot water tank was leaking from the t&p valve I attempted to replace the T&P valve but it continue to leak around the threads of the valve which concluded that the tank was at the end of life I needed to be replaced. I did not have a 40 gallon electric hot water tank on my truck and would not be able to acquire one until Tuesday, September 4. so I isolated the tank disconnected the power at the breaker box so that the tank was no longer energized. And we will return on Tuesday, September 4 to replace her electric hot water tank.
I came to Allisha’s home in airdrie to look at her tub that was dating slow. When I arrived Alisha explained to me that this issue had been on going for about a week. I filled the tub to test how slow it drained. It is then that I noticed that the shower/tub hade externally lower water pressure. It took a long time to get the tub filled enough to see how slow it drained. I tested her water pressure at the hot water tank and it was 75 psi. I feel that this requires some more investigation is required to solve this issue. I tried turning off the supply to the hot water heater and the pressure in her faucet in increased. When I turned it back on the water pressure dropped again. I would recommended a new pressure reducing valve. With out it she tells me that the pressure is over 100 psi.
I came to West Airdrie dental today to investigate multiple issues with exam rooms number one was a leaking faucet in exam room one presented a couple different options. the second issue Was a handle for exam room 4 add come off I needed reattachment and the third issue was there was a loose Fossett in exam 3. I presented the options to the doctor in charge and he opted in for no work being done today and he will see other quotes.
I came to max’s home in the canals in airdrie to investigate a creeping sound when they run their shower. Upon a thourougj investigation it appears to be the thermal expansion in the branch line of the drainage for their shower. It is creaking when the hot water is going down it. Also they wanted me to investigate why their water usage is 3 time what the average is In the area. I look at the meter and the entire system. And when nothing is running the meter does not spin. I ran a few fixtures and it appears to be operating correctly but I am un able to verify that the meter is actually reading correctly. This is something that that they need to talk with the city about. One possible culprit could be their water regenerating to often but that would not account for the possible 20 cubes of extra water every month. I would recommend a new softener if that case. But they didn’t want a quote at this time.
