Today I came to Marilyn and Paul’s Airdrie home to perform the annual family plan furnace tune up and inspection. Clearview installed the furnace, ultra violet air purifier, water heater, water softener, water pressure regulator, and potable water expansion tank in September 2023 and the systems have been maintained yearly since then. Family plan furnace tune up and inspection: Upon tune up and inspection of the 1.75 year old system I tested and adjusted the gas valve, burners, gas pressure and temperature rise. Pulled and cleaned the flame sensor. Tested ignition system, inducing motor and assembly, blower motor and assembly, heat exchanger, humidifier, static pressures, tested and tightened all electrical connections, all safety switches and control board. Furnace is in excellent condition. All components are working well within manufacturers specifications. The furnace was set to low speed only. I adjusted the control board setting so the furnace will run in both low and high spe
Arrived to install 100k btu goodman. Removed old unit, then levelled and placed new unit. Reused filter rack. Cored 3.5” hole and installed 3” system 636. Repiped 1/2” black iron. Leak checked, set pressures 1.9-3.5”wc Repiped 3/4” pvc. Installed 4” chimney liner. Installed humidifier, however the humidifier wasn’t operating. Believe it to be a solenoid issue. Office to schedule a return visit. Returned and Che med humidifier installation. Installation looks good, however, it was not wired correctly. Corrected the wiring issue, tested operation, all working well at this time.

Return today to complete the work needed,water pressure in the house is at 70 psi,Remove old hwt 50 gal natural gas,supply and install new hwt 50 gal natural gas ,supply and install new hot and cold water lines connections on the hwt ,supply and install new shut off valve on the hwt,supply and install new shut off valve for the humidifier unit on the hwt ,supply and install new venting on the hwt,complete installation.Remove old hwt from the job site.Customer is happy and satisfied with today’s service.
I attended dans airdrie home as his furnace was making noise. I found that the exhaust motor was very noisy on his 20 yr old furnace. I also noticed that the hot water tank is also 20 yrs old. Dan decided to replace the furnace, hot water tank and humidifier. Install booked for Friday mar 7.

Today I came to Alan’s Airdrie home because the furnace stopped working over the weekend. Alan has explained that another company replaced the inducing motor last year and now it is really loud and not working anymore. Upon visual inspection of the 30 year old furnace I found the inducing motor is loose at 1 screw causing it to rub against the housing. I also found it is missing and screw and has a broken cooling fan. The motor and assembly should be replaced. I also checked the blower motor and found it is leaking a heavy amount of oil indicating impending failure. Alan is happy with my service today and will discuss the options with his wife tonight.
