No doubt John is definitely an experienced technician, but he provided me misleading info about my furnace secondary heat exchanger was not cracked but was rusty. He quoted over $5200 to replace the h.e where he should know that this parts is under warranty by carrier dealership up to 20 years old furnace because there was a recall and lawsuit over some defective model built 2002-2011 Not necessarily to be the first owner of the house or the equipment. He also offered few very expensive option to sell a new furnace. Wish the company and the technician will keep updated and provide accurate info to the client.

Tech came out to perform heating maintenance inspection. Tech tested the heating system: checked gas pressure, temperature, exhaust fan amperage test, blower motor amperage test, flame rectification sensor test, exhaust fan vacuum test and a combustion analysis. Furnace is in great working order at this time. Tech found the humidifier water panel was calcified over and the condensation pump is struggling to pump out the condensation. Tech informed client and made a few options. Client went with new humidifier water panel. Tech removed old one and installed new one. Tested humidifier working well now
PPS Home plumbing inspection.Water pressure in the house is at 70 psi,hwt 50 gal natural gas,Hwt have been flush .After the plumbing inspection in the home,All the fixtures are working in good condition at this time.customer is satisfied with today’s service.
Today I came to Dean and Brittany’s Woodbine home to perform the annual family plan furnace before winter. Clearview installed the furnace and water softener 7 years ago and it has been maintained yearly since its installation. Furnace service: Upon tune up and inspection of the 7 year old system I tested and adjusted the gas valve, burners, gas pressure and temperature rise. Pulled and cleaned the flame sensor. Tested ignition system, inducing motor and assembly, blower motor and assembly, heat exchanger, humidifier, static pressures, tested and tightened all electrical connections, all safety switches and control board. The furnace is in excellent condition. All components are working well within manufacturers specifications. I adjusted some settings on the water softener for higher efficiency and less salt usage. The water heater is only 4 years old and in good condition.

Return today November 21/25 to complete the work needed,job to do Hydrojet Drain Cleaning system the main drain line as maintenance,Upon camera inspection appears to be roots in the main drain line,We Apply the Auger machine to remove the roots from the main drain line ,Hydrojet Drain cleaning system the main drain to be clean and flush.Main drain is clean and draining at this time.Also main drain appears to have belly’s in the main drain line were water is seating.Customer have been informed about the situation with the main drain.Also is Recommended to blow the main drain line with high pressure air to remove any debris in the main line.customer have been presented with the option for the High Pressure Air to remove the debris in the main drain line.Customer is satisfied with today’s service.
Client called about hot water tank is leaking tech inspected hot water tank confirm tank. It burst tech ordered new hot water tank and is scheduled to return on Monday to swap out tank under warranty.

Laverne has had the system maintained yearly since installation and Clearview cleaned the duct system last year which remains clean at this time. Furnace service: Upon tune up and inspection of the 10 year old system I tested and adjusted the gas valve, burners, gas pressure and temperature rise. Pulled and cleaned the flame sensor. Tested ignition system, inducing motor and assembly, blower motor and assembly, heat exchanger, humidifier, static pressures, tested and tightened all electrical connections, all safety switches and control board. The furnace is in excellent condition. All components are working well within manufacturers specifications. The filter is very restrictive and needs to be replaced monthly. Client called about hot water tank is leaking. Tech went out confirmed tank is burst and leaking down onto the floor tech quoted to replace electric hot water heater. Client approved tech ordered parts and we are scheduled to come out next Tuesday, November 25 to install new electric hot water heater 50% deposit taken. 25% restocking fee upon cancellation client thanked us for coming out today
Today I came to Michael and Kate’s Silver springs home to perform a furnace inspection before winter. Kate has informed me that they do not own the home. Because I do not have permission from the home owner in writing to work on this system, I can only do a preliminary inspection. I can not change, alter, or perform any act that changes the furnaces current condition. Furnace inspection: Upon inspection of the 52 year old furnace I found it is in poor condition. The thermocouple and gas valve have been replaced and are working well within manufacturers specifications as is the blower motor however it has a very loud, hard start. The fan control limit switch sticks slightly but works. The heat exchanger is badly rusted and most likely has failures. I can’t not perform the full safety inspection without the home owners consent as the inspection will likely result is the furnace being found unsafe for use due to a failed heat exchanger. Furnace install. Removed old unit, had to cut hole in that to access screws. Kept box and 16*20 filter rack. Placed new unit in stand under existing cased coil. Left tstat and existing co detectors. Leak checked gas line. Furnace has grade and slope towards drain. Re used drain. Re used venting. Set temps and press. Cleaned up.
Today I came to Raoul’s Braeside home to evaluate the aged furnace for replacement. Raoul has shown me the original furnace from 1978 that he would like replaced. I performed a heat load calculation and the home requires 49700 btus to properly heat. A 60000 btus furnace will heat the home well. The furnace will have to be lifted to clean the sub floor.
Today I came to Andrew’s Scenic Acres home to evaluate the under slab heating system for replacement. The tank servicing the single zone under slab system was disconnected 5 years ago and now Andrew wants a new system installed that is up to current code. Upon inspection of the system I can see the existing 2 domestic tanks are 13 years old and past their life expectancy. The existing under slab tank can no longer be used and must be replaced as well. There is no water softener in the home and the water pressure is good at 70 psi.

Today I came to Ray’s Evergreen home because the furnace stopped working over night. Ray explained he was able to get it running for a while but it shut off again this morning and he needs it fixed. Upon diagnostic of the 20 year old furnace I found it was in poor condition. The inducing motor is over amperage and has bearing ware indicating impending failure. The ignition system has failed altogether. The flame sensor and gas valve are working well within manufactures specifications. The control board has an over heated resistor indicating impending failure. The blower motor is leaking oil and will fail. The humidifier runs consistently. There is no system in place to take care of mold, bacteria, viruses, and allergies. The water heater is 10 years old and Ray thinks it should be replaced soon. Scheduled to return Tuesday November 25 for furnace and water heater installation. Paid via financing. 25% restocking fee should the job be cancelled.
