Received a call that the boiler on occasion will trip out and needs to be reset. Upon arrival I started up the boiler and installed my combustion analyzer to check operation, I found that my CO2 reading was on the low side. I adjusted the CO2 reading to the boiler recommendations, however my CO reading which should not exceed 175 PPM is at 210 PPM. Confirmed all of my findings with factory tech support and we will need to tear the boiler apart and perform a deep cleaning on it. The burner may be sooted or the heat exchanger maybe restricted. I will need to order a maintenance kit for the boiler and we can return to perform a full cleaning and then another combustion test.
