No cool for main level air conditioning system in Atlanta. Find high power surge add 260 voltage for 120 voltage system. Surge burnt both surge protector and transformer. Replace both parts and system operating at this time.
No cool main system in Atlanta . Check and find transformer burnt again, find new installed surge protection also fail. Find condensation pump outlet also burnt. Check different around house and supply power of 266 voltage ac and should only be 120 voltage. Customer need to call GA POWER and electrician to inspection and check on supply power and breaker. System off at this time. Once customer get all power check and repair, need to CCI back to replace fail parts.
No cool. Check and find burnt transformer. Replace transformer under manufacturer warranty. Test and system operating at this time. Install surge protection for furnace. Suggest starter kit for ac system. System operating at this time.
Arrived on site to preform a one system tuneup. Customer only wants outdoor unit looked at and cleaned. Cleaned condenser coils and checked refrigerant pressures. Checked electrical connections, amp draw and capacitance. Unit is operating normally at this time
No cool upstairs system. Find tstat faulty and auto reset to manufacturer preset. Replace tstat and system operating at this time. Customer only to keep check on system and wait to replace 17 year old system. System operating at this time.
Customer had fan set to on at thermostat. Switched to auto and system turned off. Turned to coil. System turns on and coils properly.
Arrived on site, found upstairs unit not running. Found clogged drain line. Cleared drain line and system started operating normally. Also found water dripping from main condensation port where line had not been screwed in all the way. Replaced safty switch with repair under warranty. No other issues present at this time. Will come back in the fall to start 2 system maintenance program.
No cool. Found two of the three compressor wires burnt. Because of age and condition of ac and coil, recommend replacing with something more reliable and more efficient. Sending Garrett out for a consultation. The hard start kit I installed also failed, told customer we would install a new one with new equipment at no additional cost.
No cool main system. Found bad capacitor causing unit to not turn on. Found pitting on main electrical switch. Replaced capacitor and main electrical switch and installed hard start kit. Complete 2 system a/c repair and preventative maintenance check. Indoor, changed the filter and cleared the drain line. Checked electrical connections, amp draw, and capacitance. Outdoor, cleaned condenser coils, and checked refrigerant pressures. Checked electrical connections, amp draw, and capacitor. Both units are operating within manufacturer specs at this time
Complete 6 system a/c repair and preventative maintenance check. Found master bedroom system has frozen up due to a bad blower motor. Tested other systems. Found bonus room blower capacitor weak (10 uf). Found kids room blower capacitor weak (10 uf). Kids' room suction line is not properly insulated on the area going into the evaporator coil. The bonus room system runs on r22, a refrigerant that has been phased out by the EPA. The bonus room system's main electrical switch has an electrical pitting present. The bonus room system has a weak dual capacitor (50/5uf). The Master bedroom dual capacitor is weak (45/5uf). Turned power on and found blower capacitor sparking and catching fire. Replaced blower capacitor in the dining room unit (7.5uf). The dining room system is low on r22.
A/c repair call for both systems. Found both drain lines tied into a hose outside. Cut line before hose and system is draining and cooling at this time. Thank you so much for your business today!
Complete 2 system a/c repair and preventative maintenance check. 5 ton 14seer Goodman system operating properly at this time. Suggest a hard start kit for the ac unit. Suggest surge protection for the outdoor unit. Find inside system Aprilaire 2400 filter door cover damage and filter very dirty. Replace filter with 20x25x1 so can help with filter air. Suggest replacing door cover and Aprilaire 413 filter. Find drain pan float switch damage and broken housing and condensation pump missing cover and motor make noise. Need to replace pan water safety and suggest to replace the pump. System operating at this time. The customer will look over estimates.
