I recently addressed an issue with a Goodman GSX16 Air Conditioner that was not maintaining the set temperature. Upon inspection, I identified a leak in the refrigerant line. I repaired the leak, recharged the system with R-410A refrigerant to the manufacturer’s recommended levels, and replaced a damaged contactor to ensure reliable operation. Additionally, I cleaned the condenser coils to enhance efficiency. These repairs have restored the unit to optimal functionality, ensuring effective cooling.
Good morning! Today, I repaired a Rheem Classic Series tank water heater that was failing to heat water adequately. The issue stemmed from a malfunctioning thermocouple and a sediment buildup at the tank's base. After replacing the thermocouple and draining the tank to remove sediment, I checked and adjusted the temperature settings for optimal performance. This repair restored efficient, reliable hot water delivery to the home.
Today I completed the installation of a new high-efficiency Carrier Infinity Series heating and cooling system for a client. I installed the 4-ton outdoor condenser unit, matched indoor air handler, and digital programmable thermostat. The new system features SEER 18 cooling and AFUE 96% heating, significantly improving the home's energy efficiency.
Recently, I repaired an AC system involving a Samsung Quantum 17 SEER unit that was not cooling effectively. I diagnosed the issue as a faulty thermostat and a blocked air filter. After replacing the thermostat with a new, digital model and installing a fresh filter, I also cleaned the evaporator coils to ensure maximum efficiency. The system now operates smoothly, providing consistent, cool air throughout the property.
Earlier today, I conducted the annual maintenance service on a Lennox Elite Series air conditioner at a residence in Buford, GA. I began by thoroughly cleaning the outdoor condenser unit, removing any debris and clearing obstructions around the coil. I then checked the refrigerant charge, adding 8 oz of R-410A to reach the proper level. Next, I replaced the 1-inch MERV 8 air filter and inspected the blower assembly, ductwork, and electrical components. Finally, I cycled the system through its operating modes to verify proper cooling, heating, and airflow throughout the home. The system is now running at peak efficiency, just in time for the Georgia summer.
I just completed a full HVAC duct cleaning service for a client's home. I used a high-powered truck-mounted vacuum system to remove accumulated dust, debris, and pet dander from the supply and return ducts throughout the house. I also treated the ductwork with an EPA-registered antimicrobial sealant to inhibit future microbial growth. The air flow has been restored, improving the system's efficiency and indoor air quality for the homeowner.
During today's annual maintenance on a Carrier Infinity Series air conditioner, I discovered a refrigerant leak in the system. I repaired the leak, refilled the refrigerant to the manufacturer's specified levels, and replaced the air filters with high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filters. Additionally, I cleaned the coils and checked all electrical connections for safety and performance. This comprehensive service ensures the unit operates efficiently, extending its lifespan and maintaining optimal cooling performance.
This morning I performed a comprehensive maintenance service on a Carrier Comfort Series air conditioner. I cleaned the condenser coil using a commercial coil cleaner, replaced the 1-inch MERV 8 air filter, and tested the refrigerant charge, adding 4 oz of R-410A as needed. I also inspected the electrical components and thermostat, ensuring proper system operation.
I completed a comprehensive cleaning of an HVAC ductwork system using a Rotobrush aiR+ XP brush system. I meticulously removed accumulated debris and allergens from each vent, and then applied an antimicrobial treatment to prevent mold growth. This ensures improved air quality and system efficiency. All work was done adhering to current HVAC maintenance standards.
This morning, I worked on a Trane XR16 HVAC system that was experiencing cooling inefficiencies. After diagnosing the issue, I found that the condenser fan motor had failed. To address this, I installed a new OEM motor specifically designed for this model, which ensures compatibility and efficiency. Additionally, I noticed that the dual run capacitor, which helps in the starting and running of the motor and compressor, was showing signs of wear and was nearing the end of its useful life. I replaced it with a new, high-quality capacitor to prevent future electrical issues and to help improve the system's overall performance and reliability. Each component was securely installed and tested to meet the specific operational standards set by Trane. The system was then thoroughly tested to confirm that it was running smoothly and efficiently, ensuring optimal cooling performance was restored.
I just finished repairing a Trane XR16 central air conditioner. I replaced the failed run capacitor and cleaned the condenser coils using a coil cleaner spray. The system is now cooling properly and operating within manufacturer specifications.
Today I completed a full maintenance service on a Carrier Infinity Series HVAC system. I replaced the air filter, cleaned the condenser coil, and recharged the refrigerant using Dupont Suva 410A. The system is now operating at peak efficiency.
