Better Than The Last Time

No AC over the weekend. I thought it was due to the recent install of my furnace on Thursday (07/22). It was not. The problem was due to a competitor (Casteel). Casteel came out on 07/08 and left a valve open; which caused my compressor to stop running. The only issue with Comfort Control was they were originally going to charge me $233 in Freon plus $79 service call. I had told the tech that I would call Casteel and have them "fix the compressor". But Alex had already added the Freon. To his credit though; Alex merely charged me for the service call ($79). I thought that was fair. Called at 04:30pm Saturday (07/25). They were out by 2pm Sunday (07/26).

Water in emergency pan. Opened Air handler to inspect drain pan. Didn’t see any immediate signs of internal leakage. Primary drain line is put together with many pvc couplings. Possible source of leak. Cleared drain pan and replaced start section of drain. If leak persists, we will need to pump down the outdoor unit and pull evaporator coil to check for a crack in the drain pan.

A/c diagnostic in flowery branch, found system way overcharged, removed some refrigerant from system putting it back to factory recommendation. System is cooling at this time. Blower wheel is ok, drain line is flushed. Evaporator coil is clean. Filter was changed.
