Arrived on site, replaced temporary thermostat with new Honeywell T4 pro thermostat. System is operating normally at this time
1 system ac pm check complete. Changed filter. Cleared drain line. Changed apco si uv bulb. Tested mechanical and electrical components. Found rusty evaporator coil, this could cause a refrigerant leak in the future. Water safety is code compliant but has no backup, recommend overflow protection switch to serve as a backup to primary water safety switch and to help protect furnace from potential water damage. Found system with worn main electrical switch with electrical pitting present, recommend repair. Found weak capacitor (70/10 uf) recommend repair. Recommend hard start kit to reduce load on compressor so it starts smoother, runs smoother and therefore lasts longer. Recommend surge protection to protect equipment from power surges. System is cooling at this time.
System was off upon arrival. Turned system on, system ran normal and pulled space down to 66 degrees and cycled off within 10 minutes. Lowered thermostat further to bring system back on and outdoor fan motor would not start. Cooled fan motor down with water. Turned system back on and system ran without issue. Homeowners have decide to leave it for now but would like a consultation to replace it in the heating season
Customer had us out for a second opinion for upstairs company. Another company said evaporator coil was leaking. Performed a leak search and found leaks at braze point at liquid line going into evaporator coil and suction line going into condenser. Pumped down system, fixed braze points, pressure tested and flushed system with nitrogen, pulled a vacuum to 500 microns and recharged system with 2 pounds r410a to a subcooling of 12 degrees per manufacturer specs. Signed customer up for three system maintenance plan. System is cooling at this time.
Arrived on site, found system not running due to a bad blower motor. Due to age of system as well as the condition of the unit I highly recommend replacing equipment. Having consultant come out
(Warranty) Arrived on site found new upstairs unit set to 71 but only reached 78. Found a partial clogged drain line causing water to back up and trip safety switch when it got too full. Cleared drain line and unit started operating normally. No other issues present at this time
$300 tax credit
No cool sunroom mini split system, check and find condensation pump fail. Need to order new and replace under install warranty and need to rerun drain line.
Arrived on site, found upstairs unit freezing up due to system being low on refrigerant. Quoted to do leak search on system and customer declined repair. System not functioning at this time
Having Garrett and Jeff out to prize duct resizing.
System still going into 5 minute delay for no reason. Bypassed delay. Explained to homeowners that defrost board needs to be replaced to run like it should from the factory. Homeowners decide to leave it as it is for now. System cooling at this time
Recharge upstairs and basement system to manufacturer spec. Replace upstairs and main level main electrical switch, install 2 hard start kit and replace all 3 SMC for compressor. All 3 system operating at this time.
Customer had another company come out and diagnose 2015 Lennox system with a leak in the evaporator coil. Performed leak search and leak detector did not pick up leak. Leak is most likely in coil as Lennox has had a huge issue with leaks in the evaporator coil in that year. Recommend changing evaporator coil. Refrigerant pressures are good for now. System is cooling at this time. Customer wanted me to check out his other system as well. Tested it and found everything within normal operating range. Customer wants to replace evaporator coil, will call Lennox to order part and schedule repair.
Arrived on site to find outdoor unit with a tripped breaker, reset and the condenser fan came on, but not the compressor. Found compressor to be bad, need to replace equipment. Unit is currently a 4 ton R22 ac and gas furnace
