It was pretty good. Friendly technician but he wanted us to by some expensive parts.
I appreciate the educational experience your service visits provide thorough explanations of both recommended and client questions regarding repairs or add on balancing what’s priority for system life vs client’s short and long term financial costs of going ahead, Delaying or declining susgfested upgrades. I never feel pressured just well advised.

Completed one system maintenance found the unit to be low on refrigerant again. The customer would like Garrett out to give an estimate on a new system.
Replaced blower circuit board and high limit switch. System is heating good at this time. Customer may call in and sign up on membership. Wife was not home to discuss.
Complete 2 system repair and preventative maintenance check. Discovered a weak cap in the upstairs outdoor unit. Replaced cap and added a compressor saver to both units. System operation normal at this time.
Complete 1 system repair and replaced faulty blower motor. System running effectively at this time.

1 system A/C preventative maintenance contract. Replaced the filter, cleared drain and spray condenser coil. Suggest APCO UV light for bacteria and mold prevention. Suggest surge protector for A/C system. The system is heating normally.
Completed 2 system maintenance. Both units very old. Pressures look good electrical components are good. UV lights are still new. Both blower wheels are dirty and both systems have no water safety. Recommend both. Both systems running at this time.
Complete a/c repair and preventative maintenance check.. Replaced filter. Washed condenser coil. Recommend inline safety switch and start capacitor. The system is cooling well at this time.
Furnace repair call. Found bad blower motor, high limit switch and control board. Ordered parts and will return on Wed to replace. The system is still under warranty until May 2019.
Found leak in the evaporator coil. Added leak seal and A/C renew. Recharged system to specs. Recommend returning soon for maint. Signed customer on Comfort Club Membership. The system is cooling well at this time.
Found system heat staying on due to stuck sequencer. Found burnt wiring and sparking where wiring meets heat kit. Need to replace heat kit and sequencers but supply house informed me those parts are no longer being made.. Evaporater coil is very rusty and corroded and likely to leak. System runs on r22 refrigerant which is being phased out by the epa in 2020. Found capacitor to be extremely weak causing compressor to not turn on. Found electrical pitting on main electrical switch and in disconnect box. Due to condition of system, recommend upgrading system to a more reliable, more efficient system. Sending Garrett out for a free estimate.
Completed one system diagnostic found outside heat pump to have bad txv locking out on high pressure fault when in heat mode and freezing up when in cooling mode. Need to change part under warranty.
Completed one system maintenance found unit to have no water safety. Recommend drain pan float switch. Unit has very dirty blower wheel recommend chimical cleaning. Unit outside is level and running with no issues. Cleaned outside coil changed filter unit running at this time.
