Tyler Barbee at Hobson Air is not a good salesman. Already upset that they installed a completely new Amana system that only lasted 6.5 years. Took over a week to call me back with a price. Tyler did not discuss any benefits that would come with his quote such as warranty or even a loyalty discount for me bringing them back. I never got the warm fuzzies with Tyler and even asked that I deal with another employee, Don S., who said would be contacting me but they never acknowledged my request and kept Tyler, so I just don't think they were serious about me being another customer.
Casey did a great job doing routine maintenance on our AC units. During the work, he noticed an issue and clearly explained everything, as well as options, pricing, etc. Seemed very honest about everything and I appreciate the help!
Ryan was super friendly and professional. Showed me everything that needed to be done and completed the work quickly

Spoke to customer over the phone and got new zone control board paid for and now just waiting for it to be ordered and letting the customer know when we can come back

During inspection discovered that zone board was not passing power from the tstat side to the equipment side Made a temporary fix for customer to have cool on and working and let him know we would need to order a new zone control board and would let the customer know as soon as it would come in Order new zone control board under P&L
04/02/24 Tyler S- quoted for new waterheater or customer supplied. Basic package no upgrades or parts needed. Advised against repair because it's leaking g at the heating element and repair may not last long. Currently the leak at the element popped the internal breaker. Reset breaker and unit is heating again. 13 year old unit needs to be replaced
03/19/24 Tyler s- Duel 50gal waterheaters that are hooked up incorrectly at the hot outlet. Both waterheaters are 18 years old and the first one is showing signs of starting to rot at the base. Informed customer about replacing units very soon
Arrived at customer's house and made our way to the main panel. Checked for tripped breaker did not see any. Went into attic and looked for wires connecting to GFCI outlets for testing, no break in the wires. While tightening connections in main panel we noticed that a breaker on the generator panel was tripped. When reset the garage had power again. We also looked at customers bedroom fan because the lights were not coming on when the switch was flipped. We checked the connections on the switch and found them to be loose, once tightened the lights functioned properly.
02/17/24 Tyler- basic checkup. Issues with kitchen sink and needs to be replaced and also the drain needs to be redone to fix issues
After arrival I got multiple photos of the unit as well as spoke to the homeowner to figure out the issue. I then called my manager to set up for a time so he and I can look up the water heater brand and any information before we take the next step. Thank you.
Tech arrived for rec work. The AprilAire 310 filter upgrade kit was installed. The filter was inserted. The customer will think about a whole home surge protector for the future and is still waiting on a plumber to evaluate the water heater.
Tech arrived at a warranty tuneup. Upon inspection, the capacitor out of tolerance and was replaced. There was no observed surge protection. The filter was relatively clean. The blower area was a little dirty. The UV system was functioning. The drain was clear and bleach was poured. There was no inline float switch. There was corrosion present on the water heater. This is a solar water heater. The customer was informed of recommendations today. He decided to move forward with upgrading the 20*20*5 box filter to a AprilAire filter. This part will be ordered. He would also like to set up an appointment next week for a plumber to evaluate the water heater. The system was functioning upon departure.

This system is over 10 caked with mold in the blower motor system blower also doesn't shut off. This is an ecm motor. She is not interested in repairs. She wants to talk to someone about new system. That is set up for 3 to 5pm today.
