I recently had Comfort Experts come out to inspect my AC unit, and I was thoroughly impressed with their customer service and communication. Katie, who handled my scheduling, was excellent. She provided top-notch customer service, was upfront about pricing, and got me scheduled right away. The tracking system for the technician’s arrival was seamless and user-friendly, making the entire process stress-free. It’s clear that this company values communication, which is refreshing in an industry that often falls short in that regard. Katie even followed up the next business day to ensure everything went well—an extra touch that did not go unnoticed. As for the service itself, the technician was friendly and personable, but there was a noticeable gap in skill level when diagnosing the issue. However, Katie promptly addressed my concerns and offered to send another technician free of charge, which speaks volumes about their commitment to customer satisfaction. Overall, I would use Comfort Experts again because of their outstanding customer service and willingness to stand by their work. I recently had you guys get me a bid for a short electrical run and was shocked at the extreme cost I was quoted. $8,500 for a 90 foot run. My other bids were $2,500 & 3,200 and that was over half in labor cost. So $8,500 I can’t even comprehend the amount of profit you are wanting to charge me is just grossly over charge. Tyler was a nice young man and did a small switch change out and did fine work. I don’t mind paying a fair cost but this was clearly price gauging. All you have to do is offer a fair charge for the time spent on the job and people will use you.

For this job, I work on a super tune-up on this gas furnace system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency. A pan strip and a drain switch we're recommended for the unit, to prevent clogs, customer rejected and mentioned he would probably do it next visit. For this job I did an evaluation. Homeowner was concerned about some of the noises made when the system starts/stops operating. Did a thorough inspection and found nothing out of the ordinary. Changed filter. Recommend adding April Air to improve air filtration and prevent bypass dust. UV bulb has gone out. Went over benefits of replacing bulb vs. upgrading UV system. Compressor rated for 118 start-up and currently starting on 147 amps. Recommend soft start to extend compressor life and reduce load on start up. Homeowner declined work for today. Updating membership plan to H&B System cooling when I left.
For this job I did an evaluation. System would reach over 120 and system would shut off to cool before turning back on. Filter was caked in a white dust, changed filter and ran both zones. System stayed within tolerances for over 30 minutes. Outdoors, suction line temp was 185 and current ambient is 80. In cooling mode reading 9 subcool, and 40+ superheat. TXV gone bad. Spoke with homeowner about updating to Home&Budget System heating when I left

Service eval for odor Green and blue lights off on the UV ballast on arrival. Switch was “on”. Reset switch and system turned on and is running fine. Spoke to dynamic AQS rep as that failure is not listed in their paperwork. Was advised likely due to loose connection on the UV system particularly the ground wire Tightened all wire connections and redid the ground wire with a spade mount Replaced electrostatic filter media due to dust build up Advised homeowner on difference between soft and hard start kits to prevent lights flickering when condenser turns on System cooling at exit
During this visit I looked at both heating and cooling. I'm happy to report that both sides are in tolerance. The system could use a easy start to help with in rush amps TD is 20°.
Today we determinded the thermostat is letting O go intermittently. Causing the heat pump to engage. He wants to replace the thermostats at a later time

9/11/25 Spoke to customer over the phone, customer agreed to have the zone damper replaced. Ordering damper and will return to perform work when supplies have arrived.
During this visit I discovered the compressor kicked off due to high pressure. For this issue I took the clean motor off and washed it clean from inside out. The system would also kick off due to eco settings that the home owner has now been made aware of.
Today I showed up for a membership cooling tuna checked everything indoor and outdoor subcool superheat Delta and all the electrical components tested out just fine except for the compressor saver kit has failed replaced it today under warranty wash the outdoor coils changed the filter inside which included installing the new aprilaire filter upgrade kit left system and cool mode thank you for choosing comfort experts!
