Fabulous technian and superior service

Danial A. took care of a temperature issue (not meeting desired temperature) that had been an issue. He demonstrated excellent troubleshooting skills and would not give up until the issue had been identified. Although a not so easy issue to determine, his focus and determination resulted in properly identifying a circuit board issue. Upon quick receipt of a replacement circuit board, Danial returned and replaced the bad circuit board. Again, he was just as thorough as before ensure that the system was operating properly and meeting the desired temperature. Throughout troubleshooting and repairing our system, Danial A. provided updates of progress and answered numerous questions. My wife and I are extremely happy with the final results! For future servicing, we'll definitely request Danial A. as our technician.

Deceptive Trade Practices

Horrible service. Comfort Experts (Hobson AC) sent out a technician, Kellen M. who told me that my capacitor, coils and compressor were going out and that I had multiple Freon leaks that were leaking into our house and could possible kill our family. He then set me up a meeting with a salesman to discuss my options on replacing the entire AC and heating system. Three other technicians came out and could not duplicate his findings. The last technician fixed my AC and it’s been working perfect ever since for $300.

Performed inspection of heating and cooling system. Contacted comfort advisor because the homeowner wants a price to relocate AHU to closet and new ductwork. Checked volts, amps, temperature splits, refrigerant pressures including superheat and subcool, checked blower wheel and indoor coil both are dirty and need cleaned, dual run capacitor tested low should be replaced.

For this job I performed a super tune-up on both systems. No significant abnormalities were noted during inspection on refrigerant portion of the systems. Both systems were amping over rla rating on data tags. I recommended installing either hard start kits or soft start kits for both systems. I recommended a repair on a burnt wire. I recommend it starting a membership for discounts and benefits. Homeowner opted to have burned wire repaired at the moment and declined all other suggestions. For this job I didn't evaluation on a noise when the compressor shuts off. Didn't find any issues with the electronic components. In rush and running amps were fine. I checked the bolt connections on the compressor and two of the bolts are stripped and free spinning. Refrigerant levels were good. Suggested the customer get a soft start . Customer said that it would be OK to leave it as he would keep an Eye on it. Put everything back together and system was running when I left

For this evaluation the customers system was not working at all. When I started in the attic and connected to the furnace via cool cloud the condenser was throwing a 04 fault code or locked rotor code. Looking back at the history this has happened a number of times so I recommend it to the customer that we install a hard start kit which she went ahead and allowed me to do. The initial LRA was 130A with a Max pull of 122A. After installing the hard start kit it brought the startup amperage on the compressor down to 86A. Customer would like to have a plumber come out Tuesday 17 June for some faucets to be replaced.

On arrival condenser was locked to a high pressure cutout code. Refridgerant levels good, high side pressure around 225. Moved hot gas discharge sensor. Advised customer that it is likely a random code but if the issue reoccurres to let us know.

Today we showed up for a plumbing diagnostic set from a HVAC tech. The condensation drain line was backing up. I took apart the p-trap along with the brass tee , and cleaned it out. I replace the condensation line, and hooked it back up. Everything is training accordingly. Thank you for choosing comfort expert!
