I have grounded the boxes and made them safe I did suggest possibly taking out the conduit in between boxes that are fully under the house but they're going to hold off on that right now
Responded to a call where the homeowner ported the system would shut off at times and randomly switch between heating and cooling after checking I found the thermostat was accidentally set to schedule mode which can cause automatic mode change I also checked the control board history and found restricted air flow code. the air filter condition confirmed restricted air flow so I replaced the filter and testing the system is running properly in both heating and cooling. Came to job to do recwork to refeed light on patio and also replace light bulb and also looked at microwave tripping but customer was just overloading circuit
Estimate that was sold is for a universal, we don’t have parts discounts on universal components, customer received an oem part however and the price should have been -1300 ish
On this job I installed a new inducer motor. Upon taking out the old one I found pieces on trim flue pipe in the inducer wheel that killed the motor. This likely happen when the roofers put the new flue cap on I imagine one of there workers trimmed the flue to fit the cap. They tossed a rolled up piece they trimmed down the pipe on purpose. I also found a flat piece in there that fell in on accident most likely.
Showed up for a complimentary plumbing evaluation set by another trade homeowner is having issues with a 50 gallon electric tanked water heater that is close to 20 years old and is installed in the master bedroom closet discussed repair options replacement options membership upgrade and bundling HVAC system with new hot water heater as well homeowner needs to review all of this information with his wife and then get back to us with their decision if they have any questions they can call the office and have them patch a phone call straight to me I will also set a reminder to follow up in a week or so after the holidays if we haven't heard back

I found biological growth in the unit behind the blower and the duct work is caked and needs to be cleaned. Kevin does not answer the phone.

Came to job to quote fixing work that he had other electrician come to start and ended up leaving and not coming back but wanted to add a few boxes for fans and lights and also wanted to finish piping in the plugs on the patio that the other electrician started have it scheduled for Tuesday all day with Mark
Will return Saturday the 27th to do work Will need a hand moving the washer dryer combo I need a 40 amp double pole breaker about 15 feet of 8/2 and a sheathing for about 5 feet with a 90 into the wall,
For me to continue I would have to add multiple items purely for the safety and longevity of the home as well as working condition There are multiple metal boxes including on in the attic that is grounded and the 2 in the wall aren't secured to a stud or any thing sturdy to hold it, the original plan regarding taking power from a near by circuit to get the washer going isn't viable as it has a 14 feeding it we would need a entirety new run from the panel if we can't locate the problem which I wasn't able to locate in the attic because the wires come through the wall somewhere
For this call, we performed two super tuneups. Upon inspection, one of the two units was low on refrigerant. We gave homeowner the option to have a leak search and try to mitigate the issue, adding refrigerant and see how long it will last, or considering a system replacement because of refrigerant type and condition of the unit. We were unable to detect the leak after over 30 minutes of leak detection. Homeowner opted to add some refrigerant and see how long the refrigerant will last cooling and heating the home and call back if they start to have issues to leak search again and find the curative answer.
