Started with arriving exactly when promised, installers were professionally dressed, kept the work area clean, and finished in a timely manner. System locked out on 04 code again. Checked cap, compressor saver and electrical connections. Found compressor saver had failed, replaced compressor saver run cap and also removed transformer from Heatpump. Reset system and checked refrigerant levels and subcool was within range. Found no other issues at this time but if it happens again the compressor or primary electrical board will have have to be changed. Left with system in cool NO SERVICE FEE
Came out here for fan in bedroom not working and to take a look at it and got here and finish spinning at very slow speed and motor is humming and not moving when it changes so from experience motor and seized up and just from overtime has gone bad it needs to be replaced so talk to customer about replacing the fan if they provide it and also if they wanted to just replace the motor but it would turn out to cost around the same but same quote to customer and they will reach back out to us if they want to do it
Came out to house to look at work that needs to be done to fix lights on front of house talk to customer about it and will be back out on Wednesday to refeed wire to light
Performed Tune up on system. All components and functions of the Airhandler and Heatpump were acceptable and within manufacture range. Found no issues with Airhandler and cleared all debris from the bottom of the heatpump and washed coil from the inside out No recommendations at this time
Completed a tune-up on the system. Indoor: biological growth noted near the blower; thin filter likely contributing. Outdoor: high inrush observed. Work completed today: • Installed the premium (lifetime) capacitor and verified proper operation. Approved & paid (pending installation): • Soft-start for the outdoor unit • UV-C light for the indoor unit (includes a FREE blower cleaning) • Upgraded filtration (filter upgrade / filter box as discussed) We’ll return to install the remaining items the 23rd of December Comfort note: Homeowner reports the bedroom stays warmer than the rest of the house. Recommend airflow/balancing evaluation (check duct sizing/leaks, supply/return, and register/damper settings) and provide recommendations.
No answer at the door. Pausing for now Performed Tune upon system Found Airhandler to be extremely compacted with dust and dirt due to the homeowner tearing down walls and flooring in the house. Customer also wanted to know if we could lift unit or move unit to replace flooring under Airhandler, gave customer a price and they declined. AIRHANDLER DOES NOT HAVE ENOUGH RETURN AIR AIRHANDLER HAS THE WRONG FILTER IN FILTER BOX AND HAD THE FILTER DOOR OFF LETTING UNFILTERED AIR BYPASS THE FILTER. COMPRESSOR IS NOT RUNNING EFFICIENTLY AND DOES NOT SOUND GREAT. DUE TO THE COIL BEING HEAVILY COMPACTED AND ALMOST NO RETURN AIR THE REFRIGERANT LEVELS ARE SHOWING LOW AND LINESET IS FREEZING. COMPRESSOR MAY FAIL SOON RECOMMENDED NOT RUNNING THE SYSTEM TILL THE AIRHANDLER IS CLEANED AND ALL WORK IS DONE ON THE HOUSE Payment was being processed by the time tech left and said it failed so will be pausing for now.
Will return tomorrow and install new salt softener 12-23-25

Washed condenser coils and removed all debris from the bottom of the unit Recommended UV lamp replacement and clear and treat drain
Completed a tune-up on the system. Tested operation and verified all components are running within normal specifications. No issues noted at this time—system looks good.
Came two house to give quote on panel change and also to run circuit on back side of panel for mini split and came here and ended up wanting to change panel from 225 to a 200 amp but go to a 60 space panel to have extra room for him to add circuits and also the mini split that he is wanting looked on the back side and we may have to replace meter and also will be replacing riser as well to go up a few feet so that it raises the drop to the right height to be code compliant above driveway but emailed customer all quotes and will hear back from him after he gets his third quote tomorrow
For this call we performed a double super tune-up. The unit downstairs was running within normal limits we did not see any thing that was worth noting as far as performance reliability safety and efficiency. The unit from upstairs had bio growth inside of the plenum and on the blower, was missing a drain safety or wet switch, had a condenser fan showing signs of overheating and over amping during run time, and a defrost control board that was showing signs of wear and tear. I spoke to homeowner about options for a refurbishment for the upstairs unit and they stated that they were planning on replacing the whole unit in the future probably when it fails. I offered to have a comfort advisor come and give him an idea of what a new unit would cost them, they politely decline and said they are not ready for it yet. Came to house to do rec work on replacing customer supplied breakers that were warranty and also talked to customer about adding plug on back porch for TV and gave him multiple quotes to be able to do it different ways but customer wanted them email to him so that he could think about it for a little bit but will reach back out to us when he's ready
