For this Job I performed a super tune up. I replace a dual run capacitor for a premium dual run capacitor with lifetime warranty, I installed a customer provided soft start device, and I performed a blower cleaning. The unit was cooling and heating within normal spec limits. Thank you for choosing Comfort experts, have a great day!
Completed Stu all electrical components good amp draws good freon good temperature split good condenser clean drain clean clear filter good all gas safties good working properly spoke with customer about estimates upgrades and sending to email parents not available to talk with older son here to sign
Super tune up performed today on a Goodman straight electric system installed in 2020, all the electrical connections are tight with no corrosion each heat strips are pulling proper amps PSC blower motor are acceptable, blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean, customer did not have filter but he changes it on his own, compressor and condenser are within spec, refrigerant levels at range, outdoor unit washed and cleaned.
Eval- arrived to code 26 on Heat pump, meaning Fan motor over heated Thermostat would not turn system off after reaching satisfactory temperature Replaced thermostat and system worked for now But for precautionary reasons will order DC inverted board and New condenser fan motor for Downstairs unit Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts, have a great day
For this job I did a super tune up. Deltas are good. Changed filter. Tightened electrical connections. Recommend cleaning/replacing flame sensor due to corrosion and build up. Blower extremely dirty, recommend pulling and cleaning. Dirt buildup reduces efficiency up to 20% and can cause the motor to work harder. No water safety on drain line. If drain ever clogs, system will continue to run and potentially cause water damage. At the outdoor refrigerant is good. Superheat is 29, and subcooling is 10. The metering device has failed. Running amps are good. Compressor rated for 104 startup and currently pulling 130 amps. Recommend start kit to extend life of compressor and reduce amps on start up. System is no longer under manufacture warranty. Also due to # of concerns and cost of repairs, I suggest speaking with a Comfort Advisor to compare costs of replacement vs repairs. Homeowner declined work for today and also declined CA for now. System heating when I left.
Excavated access hole to gain access to water leak cut out broken line repaired with pex tested for leaks no leaks job complete Upon turning water bk on discovered secondary leak having job paused till tomorrow for excavation
On this visit I looked at both heat and cooling. The system functions but is out of tolerance in many degrees. Major concerns Large amount of oil on the underbelly of coil and in em drain pan. Leak search needed High inrush Damage contactor Damaged flame sensor Return plenum ripping apart sucking in attic air.
Completed Stu all electrical components good on air handler amp draws good freon good Temp split good drains clean clear condenser clean clear filter good all electrical heat working properly found dual run capacitor below recommended specs also found 2 doors on trane unit broke
Customer failed out contract and wll let me know in a week went to move forward
Arrived to home to perform a iq200install. installed germanciatal system in the supply plenum, performed function check to insure proper function of the system, system ran normally of time of departure.
Customer didn't have the money for repair today but said he will call and schedule for next wk once they get paid
For this job, I worked on a super tune-up on this gas furnace system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency. Insulation upgrade was recommended to customer, customer knew she was low on insulation, she approved for an r11 insulation upgrade. Job has been scheduled for February 10th at 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. window. Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts, have a great day!
Eval- customer called in because he smelled smoke, when I arrived he told me about it and noticed that the thermostat was reading 77 when it was set for 75 Upon thorough evaluation, there were no signs of burnt wires, checked out thermostat and upon satisfying temperature, system wouldn’t cut off Replaced thermostat, system would shut off and on Customer had personal UV bulb and replaced for him System is operational Thank you for choosing Comfort Experts, have a great day
For this call I performed a evaluation. Several issues ongoing with the unit but immediate problem was thermostat. After replacing the thermostat only heating portion of the unit was working cooling side would not engage. I discussed further diagnostic fees due to time it could take to diagnose root issue of cooling not operating and spoke to homeowner about considering a system replacement. Homeowner opted to have a comfort advisor go over replacement options on Thursday February 5th after 12:00. Thank you for choosing Comfort experts, have a great day!
