He came, he saw, he CONQUERED

Our tech on the day was Kellen, and we could not have been more satisfied with the man as well as his work. Kellen arrived in a most timely fashion and got right to work diagnosing the issue with our a/c compressor. Turns out the condenser unit was shot (thank you Texas weather) but he got us up and running quickly. He didn't stop there though; he did a thorough inspection on the indoor unit as well. That turned up a couple of issues which we will need to address in future, but Kellen did not try to pressure us into buying anything at this time. He explained what would need to be done and left it to us to decide when, and if, to proceed. No high pressure sales, he just provided the info for us. Even had photos of the actual problem areas so that we could see for ourselves where the problems were. Five stars!

Excellent Service!

Our A/C unit went out and I called Hobsons at about 11:00. They had a technician out the same day.....Zak didn't get here until 7:30 pm, but he was incredibly upbeat and personable. (He actually told us he might be working until midnight!) He got our unit back up and running. Glad to be a part of the Hobson's "frequent-flyer" program.

06/22/24 TS - in 2022 we quoted to replace toilet for $365. I charged $313 but upon arrival I found the toilet flange was not installed yet and there was more work involved. Installed metal flange and wax ring. Calked around toilet and test flushed.

For this free second opinion I followed behind another company because they're upstairs unit was not running. The other company stated they needed a new control board as well as blower motor. When I got up there I noticed there was a fault indicating blower communication error. Due to this being a communicating Trane unit it is hard to accurately diagnose of it is just the board or both the board and blower motor. Did blower motor was leaking oil when I pulled the plugs out and after attempting to reset the fault it reappeared. Customer stated they were going to follow up with the first company to see if it is under warranty and if not they will be giving us a call to order the parts.

I came out to do a tune up a the system. I've come to find out she needs an electrician to come out and run a circuit for the condneosr. I gave her a new break and it didn't trip when I turned it on but I am missing a leg at the disconnect. I have 240 at the break and 120 at the disconnect. Somewhere under the house the leg goes missing. I'm setting her up to meet an electrian.

This customer needs to try to damper the air flow at the registers or do a complete damper system at the supply plenum. There is a return next the side of the house that reads 80°. Another solution would be addeding mini splits to tackle that side of the house. He wants to talk about this with CA after the 4th of July.

2013 3 ton hp closet upflow. System down upon arrival. Condenser capacitor fan failure. Replaced. System functional. Heavy biological growth present on indoor. No manufacturers warranty left from goodman. Homeowner uses A1Air, when asked why he chose us he said because they didn't pick up the phone. ARS rescue rooter was there when I arrived. Homeowner just spent $17k slab leak repair. I was gentle with my approach in telling them that the next time I visit we'll have to talk about a new system, but for now a membership and a 40/5 dual run capacitor will have to do. Left system in cooling 76.

Tech Cody arrived to customer's home and met the homeowners. I saw in the history that Mark D had found a leak in the evaporator coil in 2022, the estimate for replacement was still open. I inspected the coil and found the leak still present. I built an estimate to replace the evaporator coil and got a picture of the other company's invoice. The homeowners wanted to think about what they will do before committing to the repair

She has 2 r22 system 1 upstairs and 1 down stairs. The froen levels are still exceptable but need to keep a close eye on. During my inspection of the system I found 1 clogged drain line and water has built up a large amount of water in to. She currently does not want to clear this up. The heating side of both system are in tolerance. The td is 19.

His panel looked great but he does need a surge protector, he did say he could put it in him self so I talked him through it a little to make sure and he has gfci's and afcis where needed
