Mike's Excellent handling and advice!

Mike was very professional handling the entire process to deal with our heating concern. Also, Mike gave us really good options and suggested what might be the best way to address our concern longterm. Also, Mike was able to identify a separate issue that he's not directly responsible for. Mike notice a plumbing issue that has haunted us for 2 years. He recognized the problem and shared it with me. He suggested bringing in a plumbing expert which I quickly agreed to this advice. Great job Mike!

I was consistently impressed with Alex's technical knowledge, his demand for excellence and his creative mind as he worked rapidly to get two new gas furnaces installed in our home before a rapidly approaching severe winter storm. It was rapidly obvious that Alex is well qualified for his job, and that he is determined to provide excellent service. For this job we performed an evaluation. Upon arrival the unit was working within normal spec limits homeowner stated that sometime within the day the unit started working again. We could not get the unit to repeat the issue therefore could not diagnose what caused the unit to fail. No fault codes were noted during the inspection and all safeties were tested within normal limits. We recommended homeowner keep an eye on the unit and if the problem repeats to leave the unit as is so that we can reference a fault code and diagnose the issue properly. Today on this job I looked at the system and tested it for tolerance in cooling and heating. Some things I noticed right off the bat Blower motor rattles the furnace Inducer motor shows signs of high stress Ignitor show signs of stress Lack of airflow to far regions of the home Compressor start up is loud and clunky The system test in tolerance for functionality but system has parts and peices that need to be replaced to insure operation this heating season and more so when talking about cooling.

Arrived to no heat. Found that the system had no refrigerant in it. Put nitrogen in the system and found an audible leak in the condenser before the reversing valve. Gave estimate for repair. Customer is interested in replacing the system. Comfort advisor is scheduled to meet with the customer this evening.

For this call I performed a evaluation. I diagnosed a bad furnace control board receiving calls but not able to turn on the blower or the furnace stuck on IDL. I recommended search protection as a precaution in case it was potentially caused by a power surge causing premature failure. Homeowners contemplating having whole home surge protection added. Holding for parts, parts department stated new board can be in as soon as 1/30/26. P&L warranty confirmed by office. For this job we performed an evaluation. We discovered that the unit had a filter above rating for filter use on the unit and also that the blower fan speed was set too low causing the furnace to reach thermal limit and shut off prematurely. After changing the fan speed we recommended homeowner start to use lower merided filters to alleviate the issue completely. We did note that the unit did not have a UV system installed we recommended it as a preventative measure. Homeowner agreed to have a UV system installed, we can successfully installed the UV unit. Today I discovered the system in terrible shape the blower wheel has broke free from the motor doing so damaged cap the electrical housing and wiring. This is a r22 lennox heat pump. I can replace the wheel and housing but I can not cerntinly say this will fix the system because of the age of all this. It may be the case that the cooling side or even the heat pump don't operate or barley operate. This is something I can't know until the system is at least functional. System is down. They want to talk to ca this Monday 10 am about replacement

The system is working great the problem is the super high ceilings and the lack of insulation. I also noticed the u. System has uv systems of which none are working. I recommend new insulation and iaq200×4 They want to consider the estimate for the insulation. They do want an electrician to come out tomorrow to look at some lights in the ceiling. Note* the ceiling is over 24ft tall.

Two system super tune up performed today. Both systems are 3 year old carrier heat pumps. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Biological growth is present inside of both air handlers. Suggest a UV germicidal system in each unit to help with the air quality. Refrigerant levels are in range. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Defrost control boards and reversing valves are working properly. Outdoor units were washed and waxed.

Came to job to look at lights on half front of driveway not working and there was the GFCI out front that needed to be reset last time I was here I talked to Sue's sister and explain that to her but apparently they could get it working or something but it is all working now and also swapped out a customer provided light bulb as well and customer is happy about that but also told them that next time this happens with the lights out front to give us a call and I will call them back so I can walk them through it so there is no need for us to drive back out
