For this job we performed a evaluation. Compressor failure within warranty leaked all the refrigerant out. Rewired the t stat as electric heat for the meanwhile to heat. Need to rewire as heat pump when rec work is done. Done for now, holding for parts, pnl warranty confirmed.
Upon arrival techs inspected that all wires were tight and had no burnt marks. Heat strips were functional and within manufacture range. Blower Motor is functional and within manufacture range. Blower wheel has rust and heavy dirt build up. Coil has heavy biological growth build up. Techs washed condenser. Capacitor was within manufacture range and contractor was acceptable at this time. Home owners are selling the house and declined all recommendations.

Found system operational upon arrival. Customer states, the blower motor will ramp down and back up within a few seconds of operation. Found a blower error code on the boards history. Ordering new blower motor under warranty

For this call we performed a evaluation. Heating components were working within normal limits. The cooling side of unit had a freezing coil. We discovered low refrigerant and a leak at the indoor evaporator coil. Homeowner opted to replace capacitor and wait for summer time to replace the unit potentially with his son.I offered having a CA give estimates at no charge, homeowner declined. For this job, I worked on a heating tune-up on this heat pump system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency. As I was going through the system I noticed the drain with a lot of buildup, I notified the customer this would eventually cause a clog, customer approved to clear drain and also to add pan strip. Adding on, system was amping higher than normal, I offered customer an easy start, customer was already informed of the benefits and approved to install it. Same two house for electrical inspection and talk to customer about breaker issue and to call us back if it persists but didn't see any issues House has surge protection on the panel and also on AC GFI protection everywhere it's needed and also has smoke detectors everywhere it's needed and all up to date but told customer to call us back if any issues persist or if anything new happens
Came to job to look at changing out smoke detectors and ended up also looking at a washing machine that wasn't getting power and it was a trip breaker and also customer was wanting to get a quote on swapping on a light in kitchen so gave quote on that and also swapped out smoke detectors while I was there but customer will call back when she wants to do the light in the kitchen
Arrived to no low voltage at the thermostat. Found a failed low voltage transformer. Replaced the transformer and added an inline 3 amp fuse. Fuse blew immediately and the technician began to troubleshoot the short. Found the pressure switch in the outdoor unit had rubbed on the side of the casing and the copper had been exposed. Reinsulated the wire and performed function check. Systemnrunning normally in cooling and in heating upon departure.

Dule run Capacitor was within manufacture range. Fan blades and motor were acceptable. Refrigerator levels were slightly off due to temperatures out side being cooler. For the job, I work on a super tune-up on two system. I went through all the mechanical and electrical parts of the system and checked for maximum efficiency on both units. A duct cleaning was recommended for the downstairs unit due to the dust levels that we're seen on the system. A compressor saver was recommended on the upstairs unit and also a membership, customers approved however they are waiting to get some money in, and they will call the office to get technician out here to get to work done.
