I was consistently impressed with Alex's technical knowledge, his demand for excellence and his creative mind as he worked rapidly to get two new gas furnaces installed in our home before a rapidly approaching severe winter storm. It was rapidly obvious that Alex is well qualified for his job, and that he is determined to provide excellent service. He was able to explain in layman's terms what was being done, and how each step led to the next task.

Our home had two older Geothermal units that had been down for a number of days and despite a number of contractors and technicians attempting to get the units running, there was no success. Then weather forecasters announce a major winter storm for our area beginning this weekend. We were now racing the clock to get heat before the storm to protect ourselves and our home. I contracted with Comfort Experts to replace the old units. They sent out a team of four technicians to complete the job. Joe's job was to run new gas lines thru out home to fuel two new gas furnaces. He worked tirelessly and with urgency to make sure and get his job completed in order to make sure we had one of the new furnaces up and running at the end of the first day, and both units before the winter storm hit. Joe is friendly, professional and hard working and didn't mind explaining what he was doing .

Found customers thermostat not staging the system properly and would stop the call for heat before reaching set point. Replaced thermostat with the original one we left from the installation. System is functioning normally at this time. Amana 2 stage heat pump model ALZT7CA4810AA with matching variable speed air handler.
90 percent furnace in attic dirty filter causing excess temp rise and uninsulated drain line icing up slowing drain
He s going to talk with his wife and call use back it needs a outdoor meter device and does not have enough power going to the indoor unit to run all the heat strips. There is also some issues with the air vents in the living room one of them is blowing on the thermostat
Found bad ignition component, replaced and unit operating properly
Replaced condenser fan motor. Found burnt wires at primary electrical control for heat strips. Got customer up and running for now. Will need to come back out in 2 weeks per Mark W to double check voltage issues and heatkit pausing for now
Located short to ground in the compressor electrical circuit. Disconnected compressor circuit to heat on emergency heat. Power circuit is jumpers from breaker to breaker inside the unit. Needs single point connector kit instead of jumpers. Mail physical invoice, customer doesn’t have a way to print the invoice. Email a copy of it to Muff4900@aol.com as well. Comfort advisor to visit Wednesday January 28 to discuss replacing the 15 year old package unit.
We'll need to get indoor board for air handler system is not down I bypassed the heat strips to make them work
1/2/26 This customer was a credit reject, customer is contacting credit bureau his home has been paid for for a number of years I want to do a follow-up with this customer on Wednesday.
Both breakers to air handler were overheating at the bus bar attachment. Replaced both Eaton breakers (60 amp x 2), relocated them in the panel, and system is functioning normally at this time. Buss bar has discoloration where breakers were attached. I recommend buss bar replacement or breaker panel replacement to ensure proper operation and safety.
When I got here the heat was not working pulled the panel off the package unit that is outside The heat strips breakers are turned off I turn them on and they started working on the second set of heat strips it only has a 10 wire with a 30 amp capacity that is not enough for that set of heat strips so I removed one of the jumper wires on one of the heat strips to make it where only one of them would work now they have 15 KW working and we want to come back out in about 2 weeks to go through the unit and make sure we have no other problems and look at the power coming to it I want to come out at no charge to do the checkup Home and Budget plan
We need to run a 30 amp breaker and wire to indoor unit to make the third set of heat strips work unit will work 90% of the time unless it is very very cold outside
.upon arrival techs found that the unit was only running off two emergency heat strips tech found that the primary electrical control unit was burned up techs also found that all the electrical wires for heat kit are loose and burning techs replaced 5 ends of the wires
Upon arrival techs found that the zone system board was shutting the emergency heat kit off and on due to the temperature sensor for the board was in the supply plenum Techs took out the temperature sensor and the emergency heat kit stayed on for over 25 minutes. Techs installed the temperature sensor in the correct spot Unit is working properly at this time
