Kellen was great, 5 stars for knowledge and explanation, very punctual. Unfortunately, the quote was well over 3x competitors to replace the evap coil and complete other items on the inspection report. Also, please do not post advertising stickers on property/equipment that for one, you have not serviced, and secondly, were not given permission to do so.

Colby Finch came out to do a check up that turned into a maintenance as I had a bad capacitor. He was very patient with me, answering all my questions and explaining everything he was doing in detail. I know some techs get annoyed when the customer hangs around but Colby seemed excited for the opportunity to teach me a bit about my existing system. Very happy with the overall experience.

4/28/25 Spoke with customer on the phone. It is too late to come out tonight. She would like to reschedule for Friday any time after 10am.
Today I ran a super tune up on both home systems. During tune up I noted that there was a IAq300 installed in only one of two systems. When finished with both tune up I made the home owner aware of the fact they only had one UV system installed. The owner stated they would like to have a iaq300 installed in the system that does not have one but they also expressed concerns about smelling dust and having issues with regulating temperatures. Recommended appointment with IAQ specialist Zak to install iaq300 and address concerns with air quality/air flow. Owner requested to schedule for 5/16/25 or 5/20/25 in the morning around 10:00am.
Upon arrival - water flowing from secondary line Found primary drain line clogged - no water built inside of emergency drain pan Cleared drain line from sink to unit Installed microbial treatment strip System functioning and drain line tested System left on cool at exit
Customer stated breaker tripping everyday and having to be reset. Tested unit checked volts, amps, temp splits and breaker. The breaker fell out of panel easily and was a 25 amp breaker removed and replaced with a 30 amp breaker because nameplate says min circuit amp is 30 and unit had 10 g wire going to it. Unit running and cooling the home upon departure.
I'm ordering a 3 wire damper control.
Customer has water damage in first floor bathroom. HVAC drain line is clear and underside of closet unit is not wet. I suspect the water is originating in second floor bathroom which is also above first floor bathroom. Found evaporator coil extremely impacted with dirt and fur. Also found system low on refridgerant. System should have a 12 degree superheat is currently at 40. Please schedule plumbing visit for tomorrow and I will follow up Monday to discuss times to send a comfort advisor.

Performed cooling tuneup and recommended upgrading uv system to air and surface cleaning iaq 200 uvc system. System running and cooling on departure.
Upon arrival system was not functioning inside or outside. Proceeded to check fuses, capacitors and breakers on the system. No parts or found out of capacity or broken. When returning inside noticed saw "IDL" on inside board. Set thermostat to fan on, fan turned on.tuened off the fan and set to auto. After the delay the system began to function wnl. Checked 3 times turning system on and off, no abnormalities noted. Left system running on 70 cool, thank you for choosing comfort experts.
No cooling tested found bad low voltage fuse on furnace board. Found it was due to UV ballast shorted out, replaced ballast under warranty added designated circuit with transformer to UV ballast. Tested found bulb blown out replaced. Checked superheat, subcool, temperature splits, system working ok at this time.
Install 30k heat pump horizontal keep current filtration includes code kit, new thermostat wire to outdoor, and return plenum
On this job I performed they called me tuneup on both systems. Noted on the older of the two systems it was over camping even with a hard start kid installed. Recommended easy start kit for longevity. Owner approved install. Caught initial out draw from 131 down to 29 showed homeowner picture proof left thermostat on original settings.
