Recall. Communication error either in the indoor PCB or in the communicating wires. While diagnosing the communicating wires the technician damaged the outdoor board. Outdoor board needs to be replaced with no charge to the customer. Part needs to be ordered and unit repaired ASAP. System is down. Also need to order 20 feet of 4 wire mini split cable.

Arrived to no cool. R-22 straight cool condenser with electric air handler installed in 2004. System is low on R-22 refrigerant. Evaporator coil very corroded and is leaking refrigerant. Compressor is amping high. Made repair estimate for customer. Comfort advisor is scheduled to meet with the customer next Tuesday the 30th in the afternoon. Customer is interested in more information on the USDA home repair grant.

LG mini split with 2 heads. Customer states that the head in the bedroom had a CH05 code meaning there is a communication error between the head and the condenser. She performed a hard reset on the system and it would run for about a minute each time before the code came back. Technician turned system on and could not make it fail. Code never came up. Tightened all connections on communication wires. Found a large wasp nest inside the condenser on top of the communication wires. Technician believes this may have been the issue. System running and cooling upon departure.

Upon arrival system was not cooling but Blower was blowing. After evaluation found Dual run cap had failed. System has P&L warranty, replaced 70/5 dual run cap System is running properly

Upstairs Condenser was making really loud noise on startup and compressor amps would spike up. Checked charge on system and system was overcharged. Got system to correct charge and system is working properly

For this super tune-up I inspected two air handlers and two condensers. Newer system which is for the upstairs was running well, however the downstairs unit I did not achieve a 20° Delta which indicated low refrigerant because the filter was new and the blower was running. When I gauged up the downstairs unit had a saturation temp of below freezing. I leak searched the evaporator coil and found a leak on one of the loops. I inform the customer and he is thinking about replacing and will be awaiting a call from a comfort advisor. The upstairs unit was running well however the capacitor is getting low however is still technically within tolerance.

Tankless water heater issues, after storm water heater stopped working. Control board " mother board" has been fried due to storm Tankless is a older style, unit must be replace with new style tankless unit. Outdoor unit propane. Brain and Mark are finding a water heater that will fit in outdoor water heater box. Need to call customer with time and date when we locate water heater.
