Repairman arrived and went directly to the inside unit and pointed out all the things that were bad. Finally he went to the outside unit but I don’t believe he actually checked anything out. He never flipped the breaker off so doubtful that he would check it out with power on. He then told us the unit needed to be the replaced ant a cost of 10 to 14 thousand dollars. We called another repair company for a second option and he found a bad capacitor and replaced it at a cost of $12.50 plus labor. He said the unit is perfectly fine. The ac is operating just fine. I believe Kellen saw two elderly people and thought we were vulnerable and he could be taken advantage of. We will never use this company again and will advise others of our bad experience. If I could give 0 stars that’s what I would do but unfortunately 1 star is as low as I can go.
Kellen was the perfect gentleman and was honest about our system. Will have him check our personal AC!!

Customer only has gas furnace in mobile home, and only has a 500 to $1000 budget
1974 lp furnace downflow. System down. Voltage issues. SAFTEY switch engaged. Blower motor failure. Insulation in pilot drum. Furnace lot lighting. LP orifice is blocked. Due to the age of the furnace, I cannot guarantee the SAFTEY of the heatexchanger. I offered to pull the whole thing apart but that investment of time and money may not be wise especially if I can't get the 50yo system to function. Homeowners agreed to meet with a CA @1-3p to discussing further options. Seems to be a vacation home of some sort and there is no AC on the grounds, just window units for cool. Homeowners say the homeowner is only really used for family events and such. The main home of the homeowners live in Granbury and would like to schedule an inspection on their 4yo system. Dispatch to reach out when they can. I mentioned a $99 service fee but may be able to get it at a different cost per any specials we have at that time. Homeowners claim they have never serviced the system in the main home in Gr
2007 2.5t closet downflow R22 mobile home. System down upon arrival. System trippng on thermal overload. Leaks detected in evaporator coil. Evaporator coil has extreme rust and oil stains visible. Refrigerant charge below manufacturer tolerance. Blower wheel is heavy with build up. Biological growth throughout. Condenser fan motor has been replaced before. I shared all information with elderly homeowners, they understood that the age and performance of the system has been getting worse. They claimed to have someone a few years ago put refrigerant in. After helping them understand the next possible steps, they had initially agreed to a CA. Then decided to decline. Claim they have a house in Crowley they will move to. Claim they are going on a cruise in the morning and won't be home all week. After my offerings, I explained that we can't be held accountable after my visit and they agreed. Declined work, system shutdown on thermal overload. No cellular service at location.
Arrived to no cool. Outdoor control board had failed along with the high pressure switch. Replaced control board and bypassed pressure switch temporarily to diagnose. System turned on and started cooking the home. System operating accordingly at time of departure.
Trane heat pump with air handler installed in 2020. No drain. Protection is present. Highly suggest adding a drain switch and rebuilding the secondary drain to include a p trap. Ecm blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel is clean. Evaporator coil has some slight buildup starting to form. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed. Customer declined repairs at this time.
Upon arrival, technician talks to homeowner and started at the package unit.Technician found that the U v light was out and recommended Upgrading to a Iaq 300 Is technician also noticed that there was no surge protection Technician installed Iaq 300 and surge pro Technician major unit was working properly before leaving
Today we did a level 2 duct cleaning with uvbulb and ozone system
On arrival I found that one duct had a piece of tape covering the vent not allowing air flow Crawled underneath home to make sure no duct leaks while doing so I found one small one and fixed. System is on and operating efficiently
Super tune up performed today on a 2 year old Amana heat pump with air handler installed customer did no have a filter. She is ordering a filter and will hopefully have it by Monday when we are returning for a duct cleaning and installing a UV 300. All electrical connected tight with no corrosion. Ecm blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are slightly dirty and will be cleaned on Monday with the level 2 duct cleaning. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Refrigerant levels are in range. Outdoor unit was washed and waxed. Thank you for choosing comfort experts. Comfort advisor is scheduled to meet with the customer tomorrow morning about adding some panels and a battery bank to her existing solar system. Duct cleaning and UV 300 install are set for the morning of the 27th. Customer attempted to pay the entire balance however the bank kept declining due to security. The customer will contact her bank to let them know a large payment will be taken
Upon arrival tech talked to customer. Tech had gotten all his reading and notice that the drain was clogged as well as a lot of biological growth in the blower motor. The inrush amps came in at 119. As well as the uv light was not working properly. Tech talk to customer and suggested a compressor saver as well as a new uv light as well as a blower cleaning and drain clear
Trane heat pump installed in 2020. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Ecm blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Refrigerant levels are in range. Dual run capacitor is within spec. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Drain switch is highly recommended.
Upon arrival system was on and running, compressor was running loud. Found blower cab did not have cover so air was bypassing Evaporator coil. Added cardboard as temporary cover to increase airflow through coil. Refrigerant levels were shower that system was possibly over charged. Electrical bills were high due to Straight electric and heat kit running. Left system in cool mode.
During inspection I found heat strips Amp draws high, blower wheel Amp draws high Coil dirty choking down airflow, resulting in compressor failing Adjusted choked up duct work underneath home Located leak in line set and coil Contactor on Airhandler had lots of pitting and welding marks Cust explained to me they had a change in their electricity bills this month Ca scheduled
