Trane heat pump installed in 2020. All electrical connections are tight with no corrosion. Ecm blower motor is acceptable. Blower wheel and evaporator coil are clean. Heat strips are pulling proper amperage. Refrigerant levels are in range. Dual run capacitor is within spec. Compressor and condenser fan motor are acceptable. Drain switch is highly recommended.
Upon arrival system was on and running, compressor was running loud. Found blower cab did not have cover so air was bypassing Evaporator coil. Added cardboard as temporary cover to increase airflow through coil. Refrigerant levels were shower that system was possibly over charged. Electrical bills were high due to Straight electric and heat kit running. Left system in cool mode.
During inspection I found heat strips Amp draws high, blower wheel Amp draws high Coil dirty choking down airflow, resulting in compressor failing Adjusted choked up duct work underneath home Located leak in line set and coil Contactor on Airhandler had lots of pitting and welding marks Cust explained to me they had a change in their electricity bills this month Ca scheduled
Need to build estimate for plumbing to building Will follow up with cust when estimate is complete
Performed Evaporator coil cleaning and blower cleaning,
2016 Goodman heatpump package unit Checked and tightened all electrical connections Heat strip were functional and within manufacture range Changed customer provided filter Blower wheel was heavily impacted with dust and debris Evaporator coil was heavily impacted with dust and debris Uv bulb was out, replaced uv bulb Dual run capacitor was within manufacturers range Electrical connections were acceptable Refrigerant levels were acceptable at this time Condenser coil was acceptable Fan blades and motor were acceptable Washed coil from inside out Recommended blower wheel cleaning and coil cleaning. Customer wants to proceed with blower and coil cleaning estimates on Sep 25 in morning
Compressor in thermal, pulled Compressor out of thermal, compressor amping high. System upgrade do to age condition refrigerate phase out and efficiency. Couldn't get a hold of owner
Compressor amping high, dirty condenser coil, primary electrical control burnt and pitted, cleaned condenser coil system is operating at this time. Arrival temperature in house 99 departure temp 91

No drain switch installed however, both primary and secondary drain lines are clear. 40/5 dual run capacitor is in range. Condenser fan motor and compressor are acceptable. Refrigerant and airflow levels are in range. Delta T is 15 degrees at furthest supply vent, 17.5 at the closest.
Upflow air handler with straight cool condenser installed in 2009. Evap coil and blower wheel are very dirty. Supply ducts very dirty and blowing what looks to be biological growth on to ceiling. Level 2 duct cleaning is recommended. Level 2 includes duct cleaning, blower wheel cleaning, and coil cleaning.
Install Amana 18 seer 60k heat pump upflow with high efficiency filtration, 2,000 watts solar and duct cleaning
