As usual always good service, thorough, beneficial advice and clean up complete after the job.
Cody was polite, friendly, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. He’s willing to go the extra mile for the customer!
I paid $89.00 for an Estimate but have not received one. Is this a scam?
It’s great having the same man come to check my furnace and air conditioner. No surprises….
Service was great. I finally learned the reason my heat and air conditioning never worked right.
And yet again we received great service from one of Comfort Matters techs - Lyndon was great to work with - very courteous, attentive, and thorough!
Had furnace tuneup & Daniel the Comfort Matters technician mentioned that the furnace fan was dirty and had never been cleaned! I had him clean the fan and now the furnace will be clean from the furnace fan and outside the furnace to the furnace filter!
John was very professional and punctual. He performed my system maintenance and didn't push me on all the different suggestions. I did take advantage of most of them and he performed them in a timely manner.
Anthony went over everything with me and explained exactly what needed to be done to keep my furnace running effficiently for the upcoming heating season. He had a tech with him and they were extremely polite and helpful going above and beyond what was expected of them.
Daniel was very professional and so nice. Answered all our questions.
Performed seasonal precision tune up on heating systems; cleaned burners, tested ignition components, adjusted gas levels, tested safety circuits, checked indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operations. Air Exchanger cleaning and tune up. Remove filters and core to vacuum. Also clean cabinet interior. Inspect bearings on blower assembly. Install core and filters. Clean off outside hoods. Test operation of air exchanger. Replaced flame sensor under warranty. Will clean blower wheel and install surge protector on a later date. Recommend an electronic air filter, duct cleaning, and an air purifier.
Homeowner stated furnace would kick flame on but cut out two seconds later. Homeowner stated he pulled and cleaned flame sensor. Also stated furnace kicked a fault code of 45. Looked up code and it states circuitry lockout. It said to check gas valve to make sure the relay wasn’t stuck open, also check flame sense. Checked both and had no issues. The code also states if code persists after multiple restarts to replace control board. Talked with Jake with gluon tech support and he also deemed it a faulty control board. All recommendations declined at this time. Homeowner will follow up tomorrow if he wants to move forward with repair.
Arrived and customer explained furnace would trip o he rollout safety. After running tests initially diagnosed failed rollout. When I repaired, furnace still had same issues. Dug further into furnace and all checked out ok. Narrowed issues down to either inducer motor or a heat exchanger issue. This cost of these repairs are a large investment for a furnace of this age. Spoke with customer looking at replacement furnace to avoid any further issues. Chris will be meeting with you Monday at 10 AM to go through replacement options.
Homeowner stated indoor coiling coil continuously kept freezing up. Had multiple companies out and all said system was okay. Checked airflow and found very high static pressure on the return side and little to none airflow across the cooling coil. This will cause the coil to freeze up due to a lack of airflow. Also found the blower wheel dirty, an eighth of an inch of dirt on a blower wheel can reduce airspeed up to 20% lastly found the return duct work extremely dirty, this will block airflow cause complications. Homeowner will be following up with a co application for financing for the entire estimate.
Return visit to remove and replace the exhaust motor and motor sensor. After installing the new parts I tried testing the unit then ran into another issue. Spoke with the manufacture went through diagnostics with them and found that the control board was now the issue. In order to test the unit further we would need to replace the control board, however we are still unsure if there will be any further issues.
Replaced gas valve and tested operation.
Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. Blower wheel in furnace is dirty reducing air flow/efficiency, pulled and cleaned blower wheel. Reassemble and tested operation. Installed electronic air filter. Recommend a surge protector, humidifier, and an air purifier.
Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation.
Upon arrival the unit was cycling through operations correctly but gas would not exit the gas valve when the igniter would spark. Gas was checked for at the gas valve and gas union, there was not any gas. Upon searching the building, it was discovered that there was a gas shutoff valve near the roof access room that had been turned off not allowing gas to enter the unit. The valve was opened and the unit was tested. The unit is operating correctly at this time. Payment still needs to be collected.
Returned to replace failed exhaust motor previous tech had diagnosed. Tested operation of new motor. Power draws were normal, and had no issues with furnace combustion. Furnace is now operating normal at this time.
Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Found the system out of state code. Installed locking caps to bring unit back up to code. Also homeowner stated their humidifier was not operating. Checked system and found the system not even hooked up, this was due to previous company who installed the new system. Talked about hooking up system or replacing with a new humidifier. All other recommendations declined at this time.
Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation.
Customer explained that furnace was flashing a 13 error code. This error was a lockout code. Fired furnace and it ran consistently for about 15 minutes and shut off. Found high temperature safety to be open. Diagnosed a failed safety. It was opening prematurely before it’s rated temperature. Replaced failed part tested operation. Adjusted gas pressure down to rated specification. Blower wheel is in need of cleaning and we do recommend to ensure proper airflow and Efficiency. I do strongly encourage and full furnace tune up to ensure there are no other issues with system. Furnace operating normal at this time.
Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. X 2 Boiler precision tune up; clean and tune up boiler; check/verify water pressure, inspect and clean burners, test ignition components, test/adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check motors and pumps, checked all electrical components, checked heating temperatures, test combustion, and tested overall boiler operation. On the garage furnace I found that the blower motor was full of dust and the motor itself has been leaking oil. This means that the motor is overheating and will fail completely sooner than later, I also found that the main flame safety is testing out of manufacture range. Again this means that this component will also fail sooner than later. Customer is aware or the issues I found at to
