Brandon, the technician, was very knowledgeable. Hw was able to pinpoint the problem with house vent unit right away. Being an engineer myself, I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by the Brandon's approach to trouble shoot the problem and the types of answers he was giving me. I think I have found my new Heating & Cooling partner.

Wesley the service tech always does a great job. He does a thorough job, this time he was servicing our AC unit. After he was thru he took the time to go over everything he inspected and let us know what needed to be fixed if anything was wrong with the unit.

Furnace precision tune up; clean and tune up furnace; clean burners, test ignition components, adjust gas level, test safety circuit, check indoor motors, checked all electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked heating temperatures, and tested overall furnace operation. Combustion removal system bearings are failing. Flame proving system is starting to test out of manufacture range. Air distribution system is dirty reducing airflow and efficiency. Due to system being over 25 years old and the issues found, would encourage looking into system replacement. Chris will come out next week Tuesday at 1pm to do a system estimate.
AC precision tune up. Clean and tune up AC; cleaned condenser coil, checked all outdoor electrical components, tested indoor air flow, checked refrigerant levels, and tested overall AC operation. Recommended blower wheel cleaning, Surge protector to prevent power surge and damage the electrical components and Diamond screen to prevent small animals from getting into the exhaust pvc pipe and damaging the furnace. All recommendations has been denied as of now.

Found cooling fan speed set very low. Set to correct speed and tested operation. Fan speed is now set to correct setting per ac size, however duct pressure is high. 5 ton furnace should be on return air box as well as having side return. This will lower pressure and air be more evenly distributed throughout home. Hard start kit recommend for larger ac to help compressor start up. This will add longevity to outdoor unit. Will email quote for box when estimate is created.

Repair. Scrubbed blocks as best as I could with some soap and water. Karen says she may try it as well if it is still there. Blocks were still wet and hard to see oil. With me scrubbing it defiantly helped get rid of oil.

Found a restriction in the refrigerant this will cause excessive damage to the compressor and lead to failure of the system. Also this will decrease cooling performance, and lastly the efficiency of this unit is not up to code and should be replaced in the near future. All recommendations declined at this time.
