We resolved an uneven cooling issue in a home by balancing the HVAC system. We inspected the ductwork and found airflow restrictions due to dirty ducts and improperly adjusted dampers. After cleaning the ducts, we adjusted the dampers to ensure even air distribution throughout the home. The HVAC unit, a Lennox XC21, was then tested to confirm consistent cooling in all areas. Proper system balancing is crucial for optimal comfort and efficiency.
We addressed a broken thermostat issue by replacing the faulty unit with a new Honeywell T6 Pro model. The old thermostat was malfunctioning, causing irregular temperature control. After installation, we calibrated the new thermostat and tested the system to ensure accurate temperature regulation and proper operation. Trust our team for reliable thermostat replacements and efficient HVAC system performance.
Installed RGF REME HALO-LED in-duct air purification system on Rheem RHLL-HM3617JA air handler. Mounted unit in supply plenum using provided bracket and self-tapping screws. Wired to 24V transformer with 18/2 thermostat cable. Sealed connections with UV-resistant silicone. Configured for optimal UV-C light output and ionization. Tested operation with UVA/UVC light meter. System now actively reduces airborne contaminants, enhancing overall indoor air quality throughout the home.
Investigated temperature control issue in Trane XR16 heat pump system. Performed load calculation using Manual J software, revealing undersized unit for space. Checked refrigerant charge with Fieldpiece SMAN460 digital manifold, finding slight undercharge. Added R-410A to manufacturer specifications. Cleaned condenser and evaporator coils with Nu-Calgon 4291-08 Evap Foam. Replaced clogged air filter with MERV 11 pleated filter. Calibrated Honeywell T10 Pro smart thermostat. Inspected ductwork using FLIR E6-XT thermal camera, identifying significant leakage. Sealed accessible ducts with Hardcast 321 premium tape. System now maintains temperature more effectively, though full resolution may require unit upgrade.
An AC unit was vibrating excessively while running, indicating an issue that needed prompt attention. Upon inspection, we discovered an unbalanced fan blade and loose mounting hardware. To resolve this, we balanced the fan blade, tightened all mounting screws, and installed new rubber isolation pads to minimize vibration. The unit, a Carrier Infinity 24ANB6, was tested post-repair to ensure smooth and quiet operation. Proper maintenance and timely repairs can prevent excessive vibrations and extend the lifespan of your AC system.
In Apex, we installed an Aprilaire 1850 dehumidifier for a whole-home moisture control solution. This high-capacity unit was integrated into the existing HVAC system, connecting to the return air duct. We ensured proper drainage and set up the unit with a dedicated 120V electrical circuit for reliable operation. The installation included configuring the built-in digital humidistat for optimal performance. This setup effectively reduces humidity levels, improving indoor air quality and comfort throughout the home. Trust our expertise for professional dehumidifier installations.
Performed comprehensive air duct cleaning on a Bryant 123ANS036 HVAC system. Utilized Viper Micro cleaning system with HEPA filtration. Dislodged debris from supply and return ducts using rotary brush and compressed air. Applied Aegis AMS antimicrobial treatment to inhibit microbial growth. Inspected ductwork integrity with FLIR ONE Pro thermal imaging camera, identifying and sealing leaks with Hardcast 321 tape. Cleaned blower wheel and evaporator coil using Nu-Calgon 4290-75 Evap Pow'r-C. Installed Honeywell FC100A1037 high-efficiency air filter. System now operating at increased efficiency with significantly improved indoor air quality.
We recently addressed an AC unit with frozen coils, specifically a Trane XR14 model. The issue was due to restricted airflow and low refrigerant levels. We replaced the dirty air filter with a new 16x25x1 pleated filter and recharged the system with R-410A refrigerant. Additionally, we checked and cleaned the evaporator coils to ensure proper airflow and efficiency. This repair restored the unit's cooling performance and prevented future freezing issues.
Performed comprehensive repair on a Rheem RPRL-025JEZ heat pump system. Diagnosed failed compressor using Megger MIT400 insulation tester. Replaced with new Copeland ZP21K5E-PFV-130 compressor. Flushed system with RX11-flush and recharged with R-410A refrigerant using Fieldpiece SMAN460 digital manifold. Installed new Emerson 586-C86 dual capacitor and Supco 3 N 1 SUPR universal potential relay. Cleaned condenser coils with Nu-Calgon 4291-08 Evap Foam No Rinse. Checked airflow with Testo 410i anemometer. System now operating at peak efficiency with 21°F delta T across evaporator coil. Completed repair in 5 hours.
Performed comprehensive duct cleaning on 2,500 sq. ft. residential HVAC system. Utilized negative air machine with HEPA filtration, generating 5,000 CFM of suction. Inserted rotary brush system through supply and return ducts, dislodging accumulated debris. Applied EPA-registered sanitizing agent via ULV fogger to eliminate microbial growth. Cleaned supply registers, return grilles, and air handler housing. Video inspection confirmed removal of 99% of contaminants. Sealed minor duct leaks with mastic, improving system static pressure by 0.5" WC. Replaced air filter with MERV 13 media. Airflow and indoor air quality significantly enhanced post-service.
Performed comprehensive AC maintenance service. Cleaned evaporator and condenser coils using non-acid coil cleaner to remove debris and enhance heat transfer. Inspected and tightened electrical connections, measuring amperage draw on compressor and fan motors. Lubricated moving parts, including fan bearings and motor shafts. Checked refrigerant charge using subcooling method, adjusting to manufacturer specifications. Cleaned condensate drain line with compressed air and algaecide treatment. Replaced air filter with high-MERV pleated filter. Calibrated thermostat and verified proper system cycling. Final testing confirmed improved system efficiency and optimal performance.
Diagnosed malfunctioning central air conditioning unit. Performed comprehensive system check, including refrigerant levels, compressor function, and electrical connections. Identified failed capacitor as primary issue. Replaced 45/5 MFD dual run capacitor and cleaned condenser coils to improve efficiency. Recharged system with R-410A refrigerant to manufacturer specifications. Conducted final performance test, confirming proper operation and optimal cooling capacity.
Went out to assist a customer who called because their ac system was being louder than usual. Upon inspection of the unit, found a faulty fan motor as the source of the loud noise. We replaced the worn-out motor with a new, quieter model, restoring optimal performance to the system. The system was tested to ensure the homeowner had a quieter and more comfortable environment again.
Performed comprehensive air duct cleaning on residential HVAC system. Utilized Rotobrush aiR+ portable vacuum with HEPA filtration. Accessed ductwork through strategically placed service ports. Removed accumulated debris and contaminants using rotating brush and high-powered suction. Sanitized ducts with EPA-registered disinfectant. Inspected system components, including supply and return vents, for damage. Cleaned blower motor and evaporator coil. Replaced air filter with MERV 11 pleated media. Post-cleaning airflow measurements showed 18% improvement in system efficiency.
