I know Hudson from a previous visit. He brought the same professionalism and care to the second appointment. He was careful not to bring any mud or water inside from the rain and very helpful when explaining my AC unit's condition and general AC-related concepts to me.

Wrapping up a maintenance on a Trane XL20i heat pump system. I cleaned the outdoor coil using Nu-Calgon Evap Pow'r-C, checked refrigerant charge, and calibrated the Trane ComfortLink II thermostat. I replaced the air filter with a MERV 11 pleated filter and cleaned the condensate drain line using a CO2 blaster. System efficiency was restored to peak levels.
Out in Cary this morning working for a longtime client. I installed an American Standard Gold 17 2-stage heat pump (4A7V7060A1000A) with a matching air handler (TAM9A0C60V51DA). I mounted the outdoor unit on a composite pad and connected the lineset using brazing alloy and nitrogen purge. I wired the system, including the new AccuLink Platinum 1050 thermostat, and charged it with R-410A to manufacturer specifications.
I repaired a Carrier Infinity 24ANB1 heat pump experiencing frequent short cycling. Diagnosis revealed a faulty thermistor on the outdoor coil. I replaced the thermistor and verified proper resistance values. I also cleaned the condenser coil and checked refrigerant charge. After repair, I monitored the system through several cycles to ensure proper operation.
In Cary, NC this morning. I installed an American Standard Platinum 95 gas furnace (AUD2C100A9V5VB) in a residential application. I connected the PVC flue and intake pipes, ensuring proper slope and support. I wired the furnace to the electrical supply and thermostat, and connected the gas line using appropriate fittings. After installation, I performed a combustion analysis and adjusted for optimal efficiency.
I addressed poor indoor air quality in an office building by installing a Global Plasma Solutions GPS-iMOD modular ionization system. I mounted the ionization bars in the air handling units and connected them to the GPS-iDETECT auto-cleaning system. After installation, I used an ion meter to verify ion output and distribution throughout the ductwork.
Performed an AC replacement in Cary today. I installed a new American Standard Gold 17 air conditioner. Removed the old unit and replaced it with the new system, including an American Standard S9V2 furnace. Connected the refrigerant lines and set up the condensate drain. Charged the system with R-410A refrigerant and tested for proper operation. The homeowner now enjoys a reliable and energy-efficient cooling system.
Today, I installed a new AC system in a residential home. The existing unit was outdated and inefficient, so I replaced it with an American Standard Silver Series 3-ton air conditioner. After disconnecting the old system, I installed the new outdoor unit, connected the refrigerant lines, and wired the electrical components. Once charged with R-410A refrigerant, I tested the system to ensure optimal cooling performance.
Today, I installed a new, customer purchased HVAC system for cooling in a residential property. The old system was beyond repair, so I replaced it with a Trane XR15 4-ton unit. I installed the outdoor condenser, indoor evaporator coil, and connected the ductwork. After ensuring all electrical connections were secure, I charged the system with R-410A refrigerant and conducted a thorough test to confirm efficient cooling performance.
I responded to a service call for an HVAC system that wasn’t cooling properly. After inspecting the system, I found a refrigerant leak in the evaporator coil. I evacuated the remaining refrigerant, repaired the leak using a sealant, and recharged the system with the correct amount of R-410A. After completing the repair, I tested the system to ensure it was cooling efficiently and maintaining proper temperatures.
I completed an AC repair for a unit that was not cooling effectively. Upon inspection, I found a faulty capacitor in the outdoor condenser unit. Using a multimeter, I confirmed the failure and replaced the old capacitor with a new Titan HD 45/5 MFD capacitor. After installation, I tested the system, and the AC resumed normal cooling operation, providing efficient airflow throughout the home.
Air conditioning repair at a residential home. The unit had stopped cooling the home effectively, due to a clogged evaporator coil. The coil was cleaned and a worn-out air filter was replaced, restoring the system's efficiency. After the repair, the air conditioner resumed providing consistent, cool air.
We resolved an uneven cooling issue in a home by balancing the HVAC system. We inspected the ductwork and found airflow restrictions due to dirty ducts and improperly adjusted dampers. After cleaning the ducts, we adjusted the dampers to ensure even air distribution throughout the home. The HVAC unit, a Lennox XC21, was then tested to confirm consistent cooling in all areas. Proper system balancing is crucial for optimal comfort and efficiency.
We addressed a broken thermostat issue by replacing the faulty unit with a new Honeywell T6 Pro model. The old thermostat was malfunctioning, causing irregular temperature control. After installation, we calibrated the new thermostat and tested the system to ensure accurate temperature regulation and proper operation. Trust our team for reliable thermostat replacements and efficient HVAC system performance.
Installed RGF REME HALO-LED in-duct air purification system on Rheem RHLL-HM3617JA air handler. Mounted unit in supply plenum using provided bracket and self-tapping screws. Wired to 24V transformer with 18/2 thermostat cable. Sealed connections with UV-resistant silicone. Configured for optimal UV-C light output and ionization. Tested operation with UVA/UVC light meter. System now actively reduces airborne contaminants, enhancing overall indoor air quality throughout the home.
Investigated temperature control issue in Trane XR16 heat pump system. Performed load calculation using Manual J software, revealing undersized unit for space. Checked refrigerant charge with Fieldpiece SMAN460 digital manifold, finding slight undercharge. Added R-410A to manufacturer specifications. Cleaned condenser and evaporator coils with Nu-Calgon 4291-08 Evap Foam. Replaced clogged air filter with MERV 11 pleated filter. Calibrated Honeywell T10 Pro smart thermostat. Inspected ductwork using FLIR E6-XT thermal camera, identifying significant leakage. Sealed accessible ducts with Hardcast 321 premium tape. System now maintains temperature more effectively, though full resolution may require unit upgrade.
