I completed an AC repair on a 3-ton Rheem unit. The issue was a faulty capacitor causing intermittent cooling. I replaced the capacitor with a new 45/5 MFD 370V unit, cleaned the condenser coils, and tested the system. The AC is now functioning properly, providing cool air.
I performed an AC installation today, upgrading the home to an American Standard 4-ton Platinum 18 SEER unit. This included installing a new evaporator coil, condenser, and programmable thermostat. I also checked refrigerant levels and ran the system to ensure peak performance.
I repaired an HVAC system for cooling in a home with a Lennox 2-ton unit. The issue was a clogged evaporator coil, which was preventing efficient cooling. I cleaned the coil, replaced the air filter with a MERV 8 filter, and checked the refrigerant charge. The system is back to cooling efficiently.
