Arrived on site to perform diagnostic on a 2010 Goodman unit. Spoke to client and he stated unit have not been cooling as good and house is really hot he been researching it online and stated he think unit just needs refrigerant. Cycled unit and inspected electrical compartment. Primary stated okay. Secondary motor control was out of range from compressor. Fan secondary was okay fan motor has been replaced in past. Checked preamp found unit very low. Advised client of findings and the issues as to why it’s not cooling. Advised him there is a leak present in the refrigeration cycle and is losing the refrigeration and is not cooling home down. Advised unit is almost flat. He stated in the 7 years he’s lived here has hasn’t had cooling issues just replaced a motor. Now unit is not cooling home and advised mini needs a charge up l.
