Day 1: Customer called about his Urinal running when not in use. Upon arrival, inspected Urinal. Toto EcoFlush urinal with concealed flush valve, customer had already removed the cover plate. Inspected flush valve and documented part number. Explained that the flush valve will need to be replaced. Looked up the part online, discontinued. Provided pricing to perform a diagnostic to reach out to tech support and find a comparable replacement with the option to waive the cost, customer accepted. Called Toto tech support and spoke with Mike. He found the new model number for the exact same specs. Called Ferguson and spoke with Ed, received parts and availability. Ed stated that it’s most likely a 3-4 week wait for material. Provided pricing to order and replace the flush valve, customer accepted and put half down. Waived diagnostic.
