Customer called in because T&P had started spraying water. Gave her a choice to perform replacement of T&P along with a replacement of the thermal expansion tank. And a replacement of the water heater itself. Pressure to home was 60PSI. Customer decided to perform replacement of water heater. Shut water off to tank. Shut gas off to tank. Drained tank. Removed existing thermal expansion tank. Removed existing water heater flex’s. Removed existing removed existing gas flex. Cut away portion of existing T&P drain piping. Removed existing venting. Removed tank. Removed existing stand. Installed new stand. Installed new tank. Installed new thermal expansion tank and capped off old line. Installed new water heater flex’s. Installed new section of T&P drain piping. Reinstalled venting. Installed new drip leg and gas flex. Filled tank. Checked for gas leaks. Checked for CO. No issues found. While we were working customer went around and made sure all emergency stops under sinks were working
