In the mechanical room next to the holding tank of water there is equipment in there for water treatment they are pulling water out of the ground for the facility and the fire suppression system. Even though they are softening and cleaning the water they are not disinfecting at as it comes out of the ground. After the water softener I installed a UV filter, I accomplished this by turning off the water and opening the bypass so the facility so they can still have access to water while I work. I mounted the UV filter on the wall along with the control panel. I cut into the 1 inch copper waterline that supplies the water softener. I diverted the waterline to go and UV filter and then out of the UV filter back to the softener. I also added a secondary bypass with isolation valves for the UV filter. Reversed all of the valves and got water flowing through the new filter. Follow the start up instructions before plugging in the filters bulb. Left the extra UV bulb there above the electrical p
