We turned the power off to the well and open up a hose bib to relieve pressure. Last year we installed a 40 gallon fiberglass pressure tank that was capable of laying on its side which we installed under the house. We cut this tank out of the system and removed it and will be bringing it back to our shop. They poured a concrete slab on the outside of the house so we sat a new fiberglass 80 gallon tank on the slab and connected the waterlines from under the house to the pressure tank T. After reconnecting the wiring we turned the water back on double checked and confirmed there are no leaks. We covered all of the piping up with insulation but it is up to the customer to make sure the pressure tank doesn’t freeze in the unheated space that it is installed in
