Customer is requesting we remove buffer tank and recirculating system. Buffer tank is currently leaking. This excludes insulation, warranty or guarantee on existing system, tankless diagnostic. Tankless will not function the same. Customer will experience a “cold water sandwich” and longer wait times for hot water will be increased. Arrived on site and customer stated that the buffer tank on the tankless water heater system was leaking. Customer showed us to an outdoor unit with a Bosch buffer tank attached. Bosch tank was leaking significantly. Talked with customer and he had stated he needed hot water to operate his business. Customer also stated that he has to flush his tankless unit two times a month and water would come out brown. Tested water and found 15 grains of hardness to be present. Informed customer that water treatment is an absolute necessity for this application with a tankless water heater. Offered customer pricing to replace all piping and remove buffer tank i
