Arrived onsite to customers request of having their hvac system checked out as the air conditioning was not working. Presented Jill with pricing for diagnostics and dispatch fee for zone. Jill approved, Informed her that if it was something under warranty we would not charge. Turned on thermostat to cooling, blower motor kicked on for roughly 30 seconds. Outdoor unit never kicked on. Bypassed thermostat and jumped r, y, and g together to get the fan and outdoor unit to kick on, supply air temperature was 49 degrees, with a return air temperature of 70 degrees. Removed jumper wires and noticed an error code on thermostat stating wiring issue. Discovered a common wire at the thermostat that was not fully inserted into the slot for c. Stripped common wire back as it was not long enough, and reinserted into thermostat. Error went away and system functioned properly. Ran system for 30-40 minutes, found no issues. Amp draw on compressor was 6.8 amps, outdoor fan was pulling 0.81 amps. No nee
