Too expensive

$922 for kitchen faucet replacement. Way too expensive for single faucet install. Part was $150. Total for the job was $922. Lowe’s and Home Depot would of done the same faucet install for $100 labor.

Arrived on site and Cassandra let me into boiler room. Customer was having issues with boiler not eating in certain zones. Offer customer pricing for diagnostics customer accepted. Checked pressure on boiler and found boiler pressure was a zero psi confirmed with hose bib gauge. Begin trying to pressurize system as main water shut off to boiler feed water was turned off. Boiler relief valve tripped at 30 psi. Shut valve off and watching gauge and pressure begin to drop tried to fill system multiple times. Walked around building and found a large leak where someone had poured solder over a freeze break. Isolated this system from boiler. Boiler pump on this system appeared to be locked up as it had been running for two plus months with no water in it. Zone control module for system also appeared to have charring on circuit board. Many small leaks are present on isolation valves and boiler drains. System is functioning in zones without leaks but a lot of work is needed as the 300000

Arrived to customer’s house to multiple leaks in the crawlspace. There are two shutoff valves just before the water lines lead to and from the water heater which are leaking. There is a 3/4 quest line in the crawlspace that is leaking and a 1/2 inch quest line that is leaking. Leaks appear to be from burst pipe due to freezing and the piping is a mix of quest, pvc, and and pex b. Gave the customer the option to repipe the water piping in the entire house or to repair the leaking sections. The customer would like to get approval from his insurance company then will reach out to us for scheduling. Thank you for choosing CPI Plumbing and Heating.

Arrived at customers home. American leak detection was already there when I showed up. They explained to me that they found a leak under the slab in the garage. I spoke to the homeowner about the issue. He said that he would like the leak to be fixed. He also mentioned wanting water filtration. I provided him with estimates for water filtration and fixing the leak underneath the slab. He signed off on fixing the leak well as dewatering the crawlspace. While we were there we performed a water test. Results were: Hardness 6, Iron 0.5, pH 7.5 Thank you for choosing CPI Plumbing and Heating!

Checked customer complaint about a smell coming from the floor drain in the employee bathroom. The customer also had a toilet that was leaking. The customer had poured a cleaner down the drain that got rid of the smell but wanted me to camera the drain. Presented customer pricing to pull and reset the toilet and camera the floor drain. After pricing was approved I laid down a rug to protect the customer’s floor from damage. I used the camera to check the floor drain. There were no clogs or any visible leaks when last check. There was some grease on the pipes. Strongly recommend jetting line to remove grease. I pulled the toilet and cleaned the toilet flange. Performed toilet reset. I reset the toilet with a new wax ring, closet bolts, china caps and supply line. Performed flush test with customer to check for leaks. The toilet performed as designed and there were no leaks when last checked. I caulked the toilet with clear caulking as per customer’s request. The customer was happy the t

Arrived at customers home. I spoke with the homeowner about a problem that his toilet is having. The water level in the tank keeps dropping, causing the tank to to fill up over and over. I tried to re-create the problem but was unable to see it happen myself. I spoke over the phone with my management. They told me that we can order a new flush assembly, and then attempt to replace the old one with it. I provided the homeowner with an estimate to do that as well as a few other estimates for new toilet replacements. The homeowner would like some time to consider the options I provided. I ensured him that I would send all of the estimates over to his email. *side note* may need a hammer and chisel to remove mortar holding toilet down. Thank you for choosing CPI Plumbing and Heating!
