Checked customer complaint about a bad water heater. Customer had a 30 year old water heater that was no longer working. Presented customer pricing to replace the existing water heater with a new one. After pricing was approved Performed the removal of the existing water heater. After the existing water heater was removed I replaced the existing gate water shut off with a quarter turn water shut off. Performed he installation of the new water heater. The new water heater was installed with a new expansion tank, bottom board, supply lines and earthquake straps. After the new water heater was installed I performed leak test with the customer. The water heater performed as designed and there were no leaks when last checked. I set the water heater temperature to 120 degrees as per customer’s request. The customer was happy with the new water heater. Manufacturer recommends not setting water heater temperature beyond 120 degrees to protect from scalding. Thank you for choosing CPI Plumb
