Repaired a leaking duct plenum with several gaps around collar connections. Used mastic and mesh tape to seal joints and reinsulated the outer surface. Verified airflow improvements at two supply vents using an anemometer. Reduced conditioned air loss significantly in this zone.
Installed a Pure AirX UV light in an air handler that had visible signs of mold growth. First, I cleaned the evaporator coil and sanitized the blower compartment. Then, I mounted the Pure AirX UV lamp for continuous disinfection and added drain pan tablets for microbial prevention. System is now equipped to maintain cleaner air and protect indoor air quality year-round.
Conducted an AC tune-up for a 2.5-ton unit. Cleaned both indoor and outdoor coils, tightened high-voltage wiring, and flushed the condensate drain. Tested capacitor and contactor under load. System was running slightly high on head pressure, so I cleaned the coil again and saw improved readings. Overall, unit performance is solid for summer operation.
Responded to a no-cool call and found a clogged TXV restricting refrigerant flow. Recovered refrigerant, replaced the valve, pulled a vacuum to 500 microns, and recharged with R-410A. Verified superheat and subcooling were in spec. Unit is now cooling at full capacity with stabilized suction pressure.
Responded to an emergency no-cool call. Found a failed contactor preventing compressor operation. Replaced contactor, verified voltage, and restored full function. AC cooling the home properly again.

Installed a new Carrier 25VNA8 high-efficiency air conditioning system with Performance Boost two-stage compressor and Infinity communicating control board. Replaced existing air handler with Carrier FV4C N08 variable-speed ECM furnace. Ran new refrigerant lineset of 3/8" liquid and 7/8" suction lines using Webstone LineSet Cover. Fabricated new plenum transitions for existing ductwork using Stamford Shortbody elbows. Evacuated to 500 microns using a Fieldpiece EVAC4WAY vacuum pump. Charged with Carrier-supplied R-410A refrigerant per data plate. Installed new programmable Infinity Zone Control wifi thermostat and enabled ComfortHeat Staging to maximize efficiency.
Worked on a zoning system. We found a comfort control circuit, not working correctly replaced it and did a performance test Sanger Texas.
Went out to a residential home to provide an indoor air quality assessment. Cleaned the home's air ducts as well. Customer decided on installing an air purifier so we scheduled a future appointment. The customer is looking forward to having better air quality in their home.
