Performed precision Heating Tune Up on Rheem Oil Furnace. Air Filter had recently been changed and was in good condition. Replaced Oil Filter, Oil Nozzle, and pump strainer. Found electrodes were very worn. Replaced Electrodes and set positioning. Cleaned Heat Exchanger and flue piping. Visually inspected Heat Exchanger. Inspected chimney base to ensure it was clear. Tested Transformer on Oil Burner. Put system in operation and performed a combustion Analysis, draft test, and smoke test. Measured Air Temperature Rise on system. Set Humidistat control to setting 3 as per homeowner. Oil Furnace is about 31 Years old and the AC system is about 9 Years old. Due to the age of the Oil Furnace, planning for replacement of the Furnace is recommended.

Checked no heat complaint the outdoor unit breaker tripped. Checked air filter ok. Started heat pump, checked temperature rise, only getting 6 degree rise. Checked refrigerant charge, found a restriction somewhere. Found restricted line set. The refrigerant lines are pinched at the unit where it looks like the unit was pushed back and pinched the lines. Will need to pull unit away from the house and repair the damaged line set. 11/13/20. Found inside unit that power wire was bear and shorted to small true suction line and there was an electrical burn mark which made a hole in copper pipe. Repaired rubbed wire a soldier hole shut on true suction line. Cut out kinked lineset from homeowner hitting unit with mower. Installed new section of copper line set and pressure tested at 200 psi nitrogen. Vacuumed down system to 500 microns. Checked temperature split in a/c mode it was exactly 20 degrees. Added 16lbs 30zs of refrigerant to system. Recommended to homeowner to have an a/c tune up do
