DCM2: Heat complete, replaced filters (1)16x20x1 (1)14x20x1. Systems are fully functional and operating within manufacturer specifications at this time. Heat maintenance checklist attached.
Arrived to continuous fan operation with no call present. Indoor blower motor is an ECM constant torque style motor Removed “G” wire from furnace control board, fan continued operation. Removed all low-voltage speed taps from ECM module, fan continued operation. Fan control module has failed on a closed circuit, fan operates continuously Speed modulates properly when call for heat or cool. Will have to replace ECM blower motor to correct the fault.
DCM1 :Service 2 of 2 ;Heat, Changed (1) 20x20x1, Performed Cooling Maintenance Per Checklist, system is running at this time but due to age and condition multiple part failure is possible at anytime.
Call for system not cooling, on arrival system was calling for heat but outdoor unit was not running, defrost board was giving a 4 flash code reset and system energized and went out on low pressure, did a visual inspection for a refrigerant leak and did not see anything, checked operation in cool mode and system appeared to be low due to filth filters replaced and checked operation in heat and cool mode had no issues, filters may have caused initial issue or there could be a intermittent issue. System is running at this time but due to condition, multiple part failure is possible at anytime.
DCM1 service 2 of 2 Ac completed changed (1) 16x25x4 filter, tested system operation getting failure code thermistor failure. Gave estimate for warranty level 1 for replacement, homeowner approved, will need to to call apex and order part.
DCM1 complete; AC; (1) F16254 replaced. System is fully functional. All components are operating within manufacturer specifications. Refrigerant pressures and temperatures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor conditions. AC checklist attached.
Removed old equipment and installed new 2 stage 2.5 ton heat pump with 3 ton 2 stage air handler. Installed new emergency drain pan, new pan safety switch, new coil safety switch, new condensation pump, new thermostat, new 16x20x1 filter rack with filter, and new composite pad for outdoor unit. Reconnected supply plenum, high voltage, low voltage and lineset. Tried testing system operations, breaker on outdoor unit has gone bad and not supplying proper voltage to unit. Unit will need new breaker.
DCM1: Service 1 of 2 AC, Changed (1) 18x25x1, Performed Cooling Maintenance Per Checklist, Checked Pressures in Heat mode due to OD Temp being below 50 degrees, pressures look good at this time.
Completed 2 system duct cleaning: Upstairs unit; cleaned all (3) returns and return grills Downstairs unit; cleaned all (2) returns and return grills, cleaned 4 supplies and supply grills Vacuumed dust and debris off the ground and other surface’s.
DCM2 complete; Heat; (2) F16251 replaced. Systems are fully functional. All components are operating within manufacturer specifications. Gas pressures and temperature rises are within design parameters. Soft AC check completed. Outdoor temps are below approved testing limits but pressures are appropriate for indoor and outdoor conditions. Heat checklist attached
DCM1 service 1 of 2 Heat: Changed (1) 20x20x1 filter, Performed Heating Maintenance Per Checklist, System is running at this time.
Established wi-if connection on thermostat. Conducted zoning test to confirm proper modulation. Set Home zone from 800 cfm to 950 cfm
DCM1 :Service 1 of 2 ; A/C, Changed (2) 16x25x1, Performed Cooling Maintenance Per Checklist, system had a fault code CFG 009.0, Zone not enabled, went through settings and everything was set up properly, called tech support and did a factory reset and reconfigured zoning and that did fix the issue system is running at this time.
DCM1 not complete; AC; (1) F16201 replaced. System is completely out of refrigerant. True suction line from test port to compressor has cracked due to electrical arc. System is under warranty Goodman can have part by Monday. Part needs to be brazed out and brazed in, along with new filter dryer. Pressure tested and a vacuum conducted to remove all moisture from the system. System needs 9lbs of R410
