Arrived to continuous fan operation with no call present. Indoor blower motor is an ECM constant torque style motor Removed “G” wire from furnace control board, fan continued operation. Removed all low-voltage speed taps from ECM module, fan continued operation. Fan control module has failed on a closed circuit, fan operates continuously Speed modulates properly when call for heat or cool. Will have to replace ECM blower motor to correct the fault.

Call for system not cooling, on arrival system was calling for heat but outdoor unit was not running, defrost board was giving a 4 flash code reset and system energized and went out on low pressure, did a visual inspection for a refrigerant leak and did not see anything, checked operation in cool mode and system appeared to be low due to filth filters replaced and checked operation in heat and cool mode had no issues, filters may have caused initial issue or there could be a intermittent issue. System is running at this time but due to condition, multiple part failure is possible at anytime.
