Arrived to no cool System is an early 2000s model ( data plates are all faded and rotted ), York , gas heat unit. Indoor blower motor has been replaced and motor is hard wired to high voltage, fan runs continuously. Inducer motor is hard wired to high voltage and runs continuously. None of these faults will have a huge impact on overall cooling. Tested system from thermostat in cooling and system energized. System is slightly ( 1-2 lbs ) low on R22 refrigerant and fan speed could be adjusted up one speed tap. The major fault with the equipment was the filters. Extremely impacted and hadn’t been changed since 2019 which was greatly reducing airflow into the building. Filters have been removed. Filters required (1) 14202, (1) 14252, (1) 16202 System is currently cooling with a 24* temp split between return and supply
Arrive to No Heat Call mechanical heating components of failed. Heat exchanger is cracked to the point you can see daylight through the metal tubing. The front plate of the heat exchanger behind the burners is completely rusted. The inducer motor housing is rusted to the point that the mounting hardware is falling apart. The inducer motor is locked ( should draw no more than .50 amps, currently drawing .68 ) and the inducer fan will not turn. Tested in cooling, system functions as designed Disconnected heat wiring at control board. Cool and fan will still function. Model # KGA048S4 Serial # 5615G05263 System nor any components within system are under warranty
Returned to replace bad blower motor that had bad bearings removed assembly from furnace and uninstalled old motor, installed new motor with new blower capacitor into assembly and reinstalled assembly into furnace, checked operation system is running at this time.
Call for Home inspection, Performed a Safety inspection on the the Heat Exchanger using a inspection camera and surfactant test and did not find a Compromise at this time, the Evaporator coil drain pan is rusted flushed water through to test if it is leaking and noticed water did start to leak out of the pan, the Aux. drain pan does not cover the entire Coil and would need a larger one.
Call for system not functioning at all, on arrival thermostat calling for heat furnace not energizing, found that the blower has bad bearings were screaming after resetting furnace, gave estimate for repair. 115v 3/4HP motor

Serial: 4TWA4060A4000AC Model: 202428152F Replaced outdoor fan motor and capacitor. Tested system, 5.2A draw, design RLA 6.0. System functions as designed.
Called to move thermostat, had to cut drywall inside closet and run wire inside closet to area requested, talked with Tim while on location and he gave permission to also replace thermostat with T6, installed and tested system is running at this time. Pictures attached.
Call for no cooling upstairs in climate control, first system 2015 Trane found to have a condensation clog full of rust, checked the evaporator coil and found severe rust and corrosion, the condensation pan is broken and Connor be attached to the air handler properly, the aux. pan is in poor condition and rusted through no longer serving its purpose letting water leak out, system was also low on charge added 3lbs of R410A due to the condition and amount of repairs it is recommended to consider replacing system (Pictures Attached). Found that the Second System 2020 Trane has a bad condenser fan motor, the start component was good windings was open will need to send estimate for repair.
