Steve did a wonderful job. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. I was having a strange problem where the blower would turn on and off and he checked everything thoroughly and diagnosed the problem and fixed it. I conducted a comprehensive AC service on a Trane XL18i system. I cleaned the condenser and evaporator coils with Nu-Calgon Evap-Pow'r, replaced the air filter with a MERV 11 model, and checked refrigerant charge using manifold gauges. I tested the capacitor, measured amperage draw on the compressor and fan motors, and lubricated all moving parts. I flushed the condensate drain line with algaecide solution and installed a float switch. I also cleaned the blower wheel, checked all electrical connections, and calibrated the ComfortLink II thermostat. Finally, I performed a complete system performance test in various operating modes.
Just completed an AC maintenance service in West Orange, NJ. Inspected refrigerant levels, cleaned condenser and evaporator coils, checked the thermostat, and tightened all electrical connections. Lubricated moving parts, inspected ductwork for leaks, and ensured proper system cycling. Your AC is now running efficiently and ready for the summer heat.
Performed comprehensive AC maintenance on a Trane XR14 system. Inspected evaporator and condenser coils, cleaned with CoilShine-BC. Tested refrigerant charge using subcooling method, found slight undercharge. Added 8 oz of R-410A. Replaced clogged pleated air filter with MERV 11 media. Calibrated Honeywell T6 Pro thermostat and verified proper cycling. System now operating at peak efficiency.
