Diagnosed an AC system that wasn’t cooling properly. Found that the evaporator coil was heavily clogged, restricting airflow. Cleaned the coil thoroughly and checked the refrigerant levels, which were slightly low. Topped off the refrigerant and verified that the system pressures were within normal operating ranges. The AC is now cooling effectively and operating efficiently.
In Windsor, NJ, performed comprehensive maintenance on a 10-year-old HVAC furnace to get the best performance against the winter chill. Inspected the heat exchanger, checked for cracks that could compromise efficiency, and verified the CO detector to ensure safety. Cleared space around outdoor units, enhancing proper airflow. Cleaned burners to get proper combustion and inspected the chimney and vents for fire risks. Changed air filters to prevent clogging-related issues and inspected the fan for optimal performance. Lubricated all parts for improved efficiency and longevity. Sealed air leaks to conserve heated air and checked the thermostat for potential malfunctions. The system is running like a top!
