I arrived to perform a diagnostic service call on an air conditioner. Upon arrival, I pulled the dirty filter. Drain line is clogged causing pan to overflow. Dual cap-39.2/4.9 rated 40/5 OK. Contactor is burnt and pitted. Refrigerant levels:55 suction 39SH. LOW/LEAKING. Gave options. Client wants to do nothing. A/C alone-$4,249 carrier. Whole system7,499 carrier.
