AC went down on the hottest day of the summer. Danny arrived at 9:00pm. Diagnosed the issue and was done with in 30 mins. Also worked up a proposal for duct work cleaning. Nice young man!
Of all weeks to have our AC break... The hottest day of the week too. I cannot say enough good things about Folkes, from their customer service over the phone, to the speed in getting someone out here. Their guys were so awesome. They explained everything to me as they went too. Our house was perfect when they left, and they didn't leave till they checked it multiple times to make sure house was cooling down correctly. It was so hot, they were outside fixing unit, in our attic replacing filters (can only imagine how hot that space was). Thank you so much! You guys went above and beyond to correct the issues and get us back up and running. Im sharing you info with my friends and family. Thank you! Rich & Sue A special thank you from our dogs too... that was awesome! They are happy and cool again.
So the 2 service technicians that came today were fantastic very professional cared about making sure everything was cleaned and made sure it was working good when they were done and the mist important was they made sure I was happy with what they did. You should be proud to have such caring and trusting employees that you have working for you. I am very pleased with your company and employees from meeting Jarrod to the service technicians thank you very much I am going to highly recommend your company to my associates. Jeff Lucariello

Replaced clogged air filter 16x25x1, found bad contactor, replaced, tested, system operational. Recommend maintenance.
Bad Float switch, replaced, tested, system operational
Installed Amana ac system with emergency drain pan and float switch, new T6 thermostat.
Called out for an order in a washing machine drain line. After speaking with the customer regarding the issue I tested the basement toilet and shower stall for a main line clog. There are no signs of a clog and the washing machine is draining normally. The Oder seems to coming from the 2†pvc washing machine drain line before it reaches the p-trap. It is likely due to mildew in the the pip and Clorox bleach will help eliminate the smell.
Replaced first floor thermostat old one had no lights or function. Replaced thermostat programmed and went over how to use it with customer. Customer would like a basic white Rogers thermostat for bedroom. System operational and working
Condenser had bad capacitor, replaced, tested, checked pressure’s, system operational.
Install new pro press ball valve and remove old leaking gate valve.
Added 10’ of 20x12 duct for the main trunk.
Found system maintaining 80 degrees in home. Thermostat set for 74. Checked blower speed, running pressures and temperatures. Current running pressures 156/329psi, superheat 7, sub cooling 10. Found temperature differential only 13 and low airflow. Found end cap blown off supply trunk. Sealed end cap back on and also sealed around return box that was pulling in attic air. Rechecked temperatures, 17 degree differential with improved airflow.
Performed ac tune up and gas cleaning. Checked delta t, changed filter, cleaned inside of system beneath blower, checked blower and capacitor, cleared drain line, checked coil, checked pressures, capacitor and contactor. Ac system is 30 years old and never serviced, filter was plugged. Contactor is showing clear signs of burn marks, capacitor is going to fail. Informed customer and gave him pricing to replace and informed him these parts will fail some point in the near future. Customer just moved into home and is not looking to make any repairs just wanted cleaning. Recommended for customer to sign up for ac and gas contract. Gas furnace is 34 years old checked gas valve burners, heat exchanger. Both systems are operating. Informed customer that if he is not looking to make repairs then he should look into replacement systems for both gas and ac.

Air handler and condenser running. Hooked gauges up and noticed pressures were equalized. Customer had contactor because he’s been having a issue with them. When I put in new contactor noticed pressures were very low, checked filters for restrictions which we cleaned and put back has electronic filters. Re charged system with 3 pounds of refrigerant and cleaned outside coil which was packed. Customer may have a leak did have new coil put in in 2015. Will add dye and will have to come back and do leak search. Mail invoice to customer.
