Called Folkes on a Friday on a snowy day for service on two toilets that we’re running and a shut off valve. Chris showed up in less than an hour Checked it all out and was able to fix both toilets but needed to contact condo manager to get water shut off to building and will return to take care off valve. Great service when you need it on a tough day. Great job.

After 1 year of furnace making a loud noise while running which was reported to 3 technicians and 2 customer service reps finally a technician found the problem I have not heard from anyone for an estimate or approximate time when the part and work will be done.
Service to replace a burst pipe just behind the hose spigot in garage. Opened a small 12x12 section of sheet rock. Replaced 1/2†ball valve and 4†of pipe to new hose cock outside. All work checked. Customer happy. Payment received. Water test conducted: ph 7.5, iron undetectable, tds 340, and hardness in excess of 18 gpg (extremely hard water). Estimate was given to customer for installation of a Water Right brand water softener for designed for well water.
Service for water quality test. PH was 7.5, iron was undetectable, tds 230, and water Hardness was high @ 8-9 grains per gallon. Customer has had to replace several water heaters, dishwashers, and fixtures over the years. Obvious signs of water hardness was present on existing faucets. Estimate provided for whole house water softener system. Customer was informed about water hardness and overall water quality. Estimate also provided for a new whole house sediment filter.
Arrived at customers house to perform annual maintenance, checked over all components noticed capacitor tested out of range, replace capacitor

Service for valve repipe and water heater repair: Arrived to the customers home. This is to disconnect and reconnect the water heater when the floor gets replaced. Main Valve was replaced so the isolation valve could be replaced on the water heater. Drained down the unit and cut out section of pipe with old valve. Repiped I’m propress. Moved the water heater out of the way. Will come back later to reconnect the water heater.

Service for running toilets 01/07/22 Arrived to home to find that the seal for the flush valve canister on the two of the customers toilets were no longer working properly. I moved forward with this work and replaced them. One of the toilets shut off valves were ceased shut from corrosion so went to go replace it. When I found the shut off to the apartment I found the gate valve to be in poor condition which was also corroded from hard water. I did not want to touch it because it could leak if forced shut. Adjacent to it was the shut off for the water heater which was in the same condition. There was even a tiny bit of water seeping out the top of the nut the valve bolt was connected to. I told the customer that this can be hazardous and it is in her best interest to have all of these replaced. I also mentioned that I needed to access the wall where he valves were located and cut it open and said I don’t know what we are going to find behind there and we’ll have to see once we
